Absolutely TERRIBLE customer service. Why would they care though because they are permanently closing. I will never stay at this hotel nor the new one they are renovating into.
I had inquired about 3 nights to book for a conference through my company rate. Somehow I made a reservation (but there's no confirmation of this anywhere). I ended up staying at the Sheraton not even ever knowing I had supposedly had rooms booked at the Annabella and I was charged $256 for one night stay due to no show / no cancel.
I never knew I had a room booked and no confirmation of this. I called for proof of it, and did not get any in return. I was told I could not be refunded my $256.
Supposedly the hotel called me about his reservation, but their voicemails (both of them) were in regards to some dates in August, which I wasn't even going to California in August, so I though these voicemails were a spam / sales call. Therefore I didn't return the call because the voicemails made no sense.
Because I didn't call them back and never got confirmation of my reservation I supposedly made, my refund request was denied. So now I'm out $256 for a hotel stay in which I never stayed at and never booked.
Terrible.

We booked a suite that had a second spare bedroom for our daughter! The room also had a pull out couch in case we had extra guests. Only issue with our booking would probably be the old sock we found under the bed that did not belong to us. Bathroom was updated! Oh also where our room was there was no working elevator!

Great location and the room was very clean. Not a lot of frills, but that didn't matter since we spent very little time in the room. If you don't mind a little walk, it was a very easy trek to Disneyland. There is a really good restaurant right next door, with an ice cream shop too. All in all, The Anabella was perfect for what we needed.

Let's start with the good...you can't beat the location of this large motel/hotel. Across the street from Disneyland and Downtown and Disney, and right next door to the Anaheim Convention Center. And it's only about 5-7 minutes from the freeway. Dining is close by (aside from Downtown Disney's expensive restaurants), such as Cheesecake Factory, CPK, and Bubba Gump's
As for the hotel itself...the people there are very friendly, and check in and check out was very quick. It's quite a large complex, with several separate 2-story buildings. And even though we were there in mid-summer, and the hotel (according to them) was fully booked, it was relatively quiet.
There are two pools: one a 'family pool", and a smaller, adults only one. There is a gym...but it was small, dingy, and smelly -- no or little ventilation and it was just, well, yucky!
There is a restaurant on the grounds, which we did not go to, and there used to be a yogurt shop, but it closed down a few days prior to our arrival.
As for the rooms? let's just go with basic and non-descript. A real no-frills environment. Our room had two queen beds, an in-room mini-fridge, a table in the corner, and a large dresser 9and a closet, of course). What was rather strange is that there wee almost no outlets. So, in order to plug in and use my laptop, we literally had to move the table next to the dresser the table was near the bed), just so we could use th4e ONLY outlet, basically, in the room that was not being used by the TV or the end table lamp. As I said...strange. the hotel DOES have free Wi-Fi.
There is a combo tub/shower, with fairly decent water pressure and the requisite basic shampoo and conditioner bottles. I did like the fact that the dressing area 9sink/mirrors) was outside of the bathroom, so one could shower, etc. while the other could shave or put make-up on, depending on the person and their own needs.
There is an in-wall AC that ran non-stop and did a decent job of keeping the room cool, especially on such hot, muggy days (early August), and a ceiling fan that really helped to circulate the A/C's cool air flow.
As for the beds?? A sheet, but no blanket (maybe because it is summer??) and a bedspread, and several really nice and soft pillows. The bed was quite comfy -- surprisingly so - in fact, both my wife and I commented on how soundly we slept both nights.
So...if you don't care much about décor, or frills, and just want a comfortable bed and a room that is very convenient to both Disneyland and the Convention Center (and less than 10 minutes from Anaheim Stadium and The Pond), then I would recommend staying here. It's nothing to brag about, but you could also do a lot worse.

We were in Anaheim for, obviously, Disneyland. We reserved a room at the Anabella as a 3.5 star hotel very close to downtown Disney.
The hotel and staff were great. We also were able to walk to the park very comfortably. However, the room and everything else in the hotel was way less than what we expected for a 3.5 stars, and we travel a lot.
