ado826on 12/09/2016 22:30Bergama is a small city with not much attractions except for the tourists they are interested in its very historic ancient monuments and ruins going back to Roman and Greek civilizations. Once it was very important civilization center. The famous mausoleum which is considered one of the seven wonders. Unfortunately it was stolen stone by stone by German archaeologists. Now this monument is displayed in Berlin.
Hotel is very descent one for such small town. It is clean and comfortable

Very nice hotel
Helena Bon 11/12/2015 13:49The Anil Hotel has the perfect location to discover Bergama. It is right opposite the archaeology museum and you are in the heart of the town. We walked to the funicular and went up to the Acropolis and on the way down you pass the Red Basilica. Our room was spacious and very clean and had a kettle and cups for coffee/tea which is very convenient. The beds and bedding are of good quality and hot water all the time in the bathroom. The shower was a bit small but that is not really a negative. Our room overlooked the Acropolis which was an added bonus. The staff was wonderful and could not do enough for us. Breakfast is not a big selection but fresh and more than enough. The hotel is quiet and in the three nights we stayed there we never heard any noise and that made for a good rest. This is really good value for money and I highly recommend it.
Quiet hotel neat main atractions
bitteroranges1on 30/12/2014 15:14This hotel is not for romantic "old house in an old city" travelers like myself. It is comfortable and quiet but for me most of the decorations seemed tasteless. The neighbourhood is central: it is possible to walk to Asclepion and the Red Basilica is just 10 minutes away. You can reach Acropolis easily, besides, the bus stop to Izmir is nearby. Breakfast was good and tasty: small variety of pretty good foods including cakes and bacon.
Good hotel for short visit to Bergama
Mikkeli Gon 22/10/2014 19:03Positives – Good location – we walked to the Asclepion, then to the Pergamon Acropolis and back to the hotel (a big day on foot, but doable). Warm and helpful staff with enough English for basic communication. Decent breakfast. Spacious rooms with views over town to Pergamon Acropolis. We also had the good fortune of meeting the owners’ chinchilla cat which was brought in one morning – an adorable little thing (you can follow it on instagram). Pretty quiet in room and high quality of sleep.
As an aside, we enjoyed Bergama a great deal. It has a very relaxed feel about it. There are very few tourists and we were greeted warmly wherever we went in town.
Negatives – Hardly a negative, but something to note - the shower in our room had a sort of massage option which seemed like it had not been working for many years, so if you see it in the hotel pics, don’t expect some magical shower massage.
