This is supposed to be the best hotel in Anyang. As hotels go it's average. The most important things were fine: clean bed and working bathroom. The breakfast service was also ok. If you're a western traveler and desperate for your morning coffee or tea; bring your own :-)

This is the best hotel in town.
The hotel has only chinese food for breakfast and water melon. Take some cereal bars with you.
Nobody at the hotel speaks really english, so be sure you have an english guide with you.

This Hotel boast a 4 star rating
It is far less than that, beds are hard as a rock the room and carpet are filthy and old, no service at all, i arrived 1 am i had to take my luggege myself to the room, the light in the bathroom is conected to a motion sensor so if you sit still for a second or stan still in shower the bathroom will go completly dark and there are no windows in the bathroom.
I never understood these chinese hotel who get these kinds of overratings by all means availble... Dont they know that that 4 star sign is only worth until the guest actuly stays in the room and sees the fraud.
My recomendation is stay away, but in this small city regarding a normal hotel you are fresh out of luck.

Enjoyed my business stay at this hotel. We wanted to stay near the main market, this hotel was perfect for that. Located close to the main area as well as the main train station. Te staff was polite and helpful. The breakfast was well laid and we could get some Veg food also.

Anyang is by China standards a relatively small town (5.2m) at the northern most point of Henan province. It does not exactly qualify as a tourist attraction and the choices of hotels are restricted. This hotel does the job as far as where one can get a good night sleep and go about the next day business. Don't expect luxury standards. Breakfast and Internet is included which makes it efficient and is clean. Coffee in the morning however is the worst I have had ever. Overall I rate it as a 3* hotel but it is good enough.
