If you are expecting something similar to Phuket you are in for a surprise. While this beach resort is nicely secluded and offer great rooms there is literally nothing around it.
The drive from the airport is close to 1 hour,
While the staff are as always very helpful the location leaves much to be desired if you want more options for dining than just the only restaurant on the property.
The massage staff are hired from outside so it is a gamble if you get someone decent.
We did enjoy the getaway and the large rooms with direct pool access however do not expect crystal clear waters or many options to go out close by.

Thought the hotel is established in really nice place, but the golden ages of Anyavee Tubkaek Beach Resort is long gone. The hotel used to be beautiful, but now it needs reconstruction. The worst part is the horrible smell of WC going to room because of some pipe problems. Also the AC is extremelly noisy, impossible to sleep at night.
Hotel is in the middle of wild beach, what means there are only couple of places to eat- the hotel itself or couple of nearby hotels, which serve poor food, extra small portions, but charge you European prices. The service and the food during dinner at the hotel was really bad. Also, there are barelly any activities around except beach. Hotel charges a lot for shuttle to the city, prices of massages are extremelly high. Besides, the beach, which belongs to the hotel was not clean - attaching couple of photos how the place looks like.
The advantages of the place: good breakfast, big rooms, nice beach if cleaned.

We stayed for 2 days in Beach front pool villa. I have not seen such a good room before this. It has good and big private swimming pool and situated right at the beach. Sea view from private pool is magnificent. You can easily access beach from the room. Resort itself is very well maintained with 2 restaurants and common swimming pool. Though location is not that great its far from city though Hotel arranges for commutation on paid basis. A better location to stay is AO Nang itself though you won't be able to access beach in Ao nang. In short very good experience in this resort

We are enjoy our stay in Jacuzzi Seaview Room ! Is so romantic. Stunning view on a bay! Happy to to have a weekend there. I can recommend this hotel to couple and family for quiet and happy vacation. Great breakfast but for dinner we are prefer going to Krabi town drive by car are 10 min. In hotel restaurant a la cart menu is not allowed for us.

Anyavee is a great resort located along the tubkaek beach. The resort is calm and pleasing!the pool is fantastic with a beach view!
The hotel shuttle is charged at 200bhatts per person and is not free. While other resorts in d area give free shuttles to d downtown area.
The resort is far n disconnected from the Ao Nang and Krabi town. If tats wat u want then its cool.
But if u wish to visit Krabi town and Ao Nang centre then the Taxi/Tuk Tuk prices are steep (600Bhatts - Ao Nang) compared to prices in d rest of Thailand.
Private Pool rooms, jacuzzi rooms are the best to choose if you re staying here.
Superior n Deluxe rooms arent that clean n well kept.
