Good apartment hotel option

The room is rather small and has a Murphy bed which is preferable to a fold up couch. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and crockery. Only issue is that there is no cleaning unless you pay for it and the TV does not have any sports channels.
Budget ApartHotel for a short stay with very good connectivity to Paris and Velizy 2

This is a budget ApartHotel in Clamart, France located on the T6 Tram line. So commuting to Paris as well as Velizy 2 is very easy. There is ample car parking space and rooms are well maintained.
The room is equipped with microwave, cook top, mini refrigerator and few utensils for cooking and dining. There are grocery shops at a walking distance. There is a good storage to store your luggage and clothes. The room is provided with a TV with local French channels (and around two or three English channels).
The air-conditioning is good! I never felt cold in winter season (while it was close to 0 deg outside).
The bathroom is very small though, The shower area is very small.
OK, but not great by any means

I stayed at the Adagio Access in Clamart for four nights while on a recent business trip. I arrived late on Sunday night and started to wonder immediately if I had made a bad choice (there were some rather unsavory characters loitering on the street when I arrived by taxi). My experience from then on improved, although I can't rate this apartment hotel more than "average".
The room is fairly small, particularly with bathroom, with a small kitchen area. The bed was very low to the ground, with a large dip in the middle. I spent most of my evening scuttling sideways around the room to get from one side to the other. Breakfast, which I had read from a previous reviewer to be pretty bad, was not bad at all by French standards, with fresh baguettes and croissants, cereals, jams and dairy produce, with an excellent coffee machine. The breakfast area was cramped, but efficient. This meal was, in my view, one of the high points of the stay (apart from being close to a gaggle of restaurants along the street).
Good Accessibility to the city, but.....

Room Type: Studio
Stay: Business
Amenities: Heater (no air conditioner!), Refrigerator, Microwave, fully equipped Kitchen (glass top convection), Free wifi (low speed & you need to keep registering every week. Not sure how secure it is as there is no wifi password.)
Accessibility:
This has got to be the only high point of the service apartment.
With T6 tramline stop a minute away from the hotel, accessibility to the city is very good. 20mins to Châtillon - Montrouge via T6 where you could catch M13 metro to get to the heart of the city.
Alternatively, you could take the tram to Meudon la Foret/Velizy 2 & get to Pont de Sevres metro M9 to head to the city or take a bus 171 to get to Versailles.
Restaurants & fast food joints are aplenty a few paces away.
Supermarket 'Intermarche' is around 10mins away. Alternatively you could take the tram to get to Auchan in Velizy 2 or Carrefour to get your groceries.
Cleanliness:
I must say i was highly disappointed with on this front.
The corridors always had a stench - i believe this must be due to the ongoing cooking in rooms. However, during my stay in Tempolodge hotels, who also provide a kitchen, i didn't experience this kind of a stench.
The corridor lights malfunctioning meant the patrons had to enter the room in pitch darkness.
The rooms are done up once a week & on quite a few occasions i had to specifically give a reminder that the rooms haven't been done up yet.
On quite a few occasions the tissue paper rolls were never replaced & i had to go down to the reception to ask for one.
Staff:
Most of the staff were extremely courteous, barring one, who i'd not like to name.
Coming back to the tissue paper issue, on demanding an extra tissue paper roll to avoid this back & forth every week, there was an outright negative response.
It is said you can get an iron board from the reception, but i never managed to get one. Apparently one can pay a deposit & keep the iron with them for any length of time - and they have just 2 in the entire hotel! Astonishing!!
Basic hotel, comfortable bed, noisy room, primitive breakfast

This could have been a much better review had the smoke alarm not woken me up at 4 am and 4:30 am and every half an hour until I left the room. The walls of the room were not very well sound-proofed so maybe the alarm woke up my neighbours who seemed to have a partly until 1 or 2 am.
The breakfast room was small and well beyond the capability of the overstretched staff to maintain order.
