Cute hotel with convenient in-house dining. The rooms are really cool - with all kinds of twists and turns (appreciated the fridge!), and balcony and rooftop seating from which the beach and the nearby medieval tower can be seen. I loved that there were a ton of herbs growing on the rooftop- can't get fresher than that! The beach is across the (very quiet) street, and the Torre di Bari is one of many on the coast of Sardinia. The beaches (two of them) are clean and quiet. Convenient on-street parking.
I loved the breakfast and the in-house restaurant, not only was it convenient, the food was very tasty and the service was great too.
As it turns out I needed to attend a "gotomeeting" while I was at this hotel. Luckily, the hotel has a computer it makes available to guests, and I was able to attend flawlessly this way. The receptionist checked a few times that my connection was sufficient, and after the desk closed (my meeting was scheduled for US time) - she quietly closed up and I finished our online meeting.
Other folks at this hotel seemed to really enjoy it as well - I saw quite a few families and larger groups. It's a quiet place in a fairly undisturbed lovely area of Sardinia.

We booked a long week end thinking was a resort where we could relax with swimming pool and beach at 35 m. They sell themselves very well, pictures amazing....but from the hotel ( is not a resort) you need to cross a street, actually, 2 little ones....swimming pool was not bigger then 2 x 4 m and not much space to relax. With half board the dinner needed to be chosen in the afternoon....I have to say the breakfast was amazing....vast choice of pastries and cakes, continental choices as well.....it's a very nice hotel....but not definitely a resort like they say on line or in bookings or trivago....

I spent an extremely pleasant week at Domus De Janas, a beautiful hotel a short stroll from the Sardinian beach. Led by the very hospitable Carlo and Gianna, the multilingual staff at DDJ were on hand to help guests enjoy their stay.
In addition to the choice of pebble and sand beaches nearby, the hotel itself features a pool, a fitness suite and two jacuzzis. When we decided to venture out, the staff were able to inform us of the available activities in the area (surfing, diving, boat tours etc.) and helped us to make the booking.
Overall: great facilities and a nice atmosphere, would recommend.

I had a room on the third floor and the views are beautiful. You can see both the mountains and the sea when you wake up so you're always happy. I would 100% go again and recommend to all of my friends.

I've spent a week enjoying this amazing spot of Sardinia. The hotel is simply great, rooms with amazing views on the seaside and terraces everywhere, nice swimming pool and jacuzzi, the beach is just on the other side of the street. Breakfast is simply fantastic. The staff is always there to help. Rooms are clean with very functional drawers.
Great place to relax and enjoy the seaside.
