    What People are saying

    Excellent value

    Jean F on 16/11/2017 19:57

2nd time my husband and I have stayed her. Friendliness, cleanliness, helpfulness cannot be faulted. My husband has mobility difficulties but we were given the room in the basement adjacent to the dining room which suited him very well as he only had to negotiate the stairs once. Choice of breakfast: no complaints whatsoever - good choice and beautifully cooked full English (freshly made for you). Yes, the rooms are quite small, and it's not the sort of place you go to for the lounge/bar area(there isn't one) but for a couple of nights B&b in central London, especially if you are arriving at St Pancras or King's Cross you will not get better value for your money.

City trip to London Apollo Hotel

Selected the hotel based on reviews so we knew the (twin) rooms were small but these rooms are really small. A big guy like me (1.94 cm) has a problem in the en-suite bathroom.
In the room was a wardrobe but the door could not open properly as the bed was there too. There was not even sufficient room for 1 suitcase so imagine 2 suitcases.
Have to say the owners were very nice, breakfast was tasty and made to order. Room was clean and bed slept ok for me.
If you have no expactations and only want a bed to sleep, clean bathroom and nice breakfast this place is ok. Close to Kings Cross/St Pancras en Euston Station

    Absolute gem

We stayed at the Apollo for 5 nights last week and we couldn’t have been happier with our stay. My friend and I shared a twin room with an ensuite shower room which although was small it was very well appointed and had everything we needed in it. Our room was on the top floor but the staff were incredibly helpful in helping us carry our cases up to the room and back down again. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable and towels were provided too. There was a hairdryer in the room too, plenty of plug sockets and a kettle for making hot drinks and the tea, coffee, milk and biscuits were replenished daily.
The staff at The Apollo are absolutely wonderful and really couldn’t have been more accommodating, helpful and friendly. Everyone we met was just lovely.
The breakfast we had each day was fantastic- a range of cereals, croissants, muffins, fruit, toast and then a hot breakfast cooked fresh to order.
The hotel’s location is just fantastic and gave us the perfect base for sightseeing and going out in the evening.
Thank you to everyone at The Apollo and we will recommend you and hopefully be back again for another stay in the not to distant future.

Perfect spot for a home base in London!

My family and I just spent 2 nights at the Apollo and we were so impressed by their hospitality. One of our 2 rooms was being renovated so for the first night my friend and I stayed at the Wardonia across the street (arranged by the Apollo). That hotel was a bit tricky to navigate with bags and the basement room was just adequate. When we were given our room at the Apollo the following night we were initially disappointed to learn it was another basement room however this quickly turned to delight when we saw the larger sized room which was modern and well appointed, with large beds. It had a big window to let in a nice breeze and was just perfect. The gentleman working the front desk had offered a non-basement room however after seeing this one there was no moving us. He brought me two fans at my request and arranged to leave us some pastries for breakfast because we were going to check out early and miss the AMAZING English breakfast we had enjoyed the day before (coffee was verrrry good). Thank you for ensuring we had a pleasant stay! The value for money and the location were simply the best we could have hoped for. Will definitely recommend this spot to others!

Great location; comfortable beds; wonderful managers

We stayed here for a night because we needed to be close to St Pancras station and it turned out to be an excellent choice. Our room was small, but the bed was wonderfully comfortable and everything was very clean and well presented. The managers were very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast, cooked to order. There is no lift; that did not worry us but, if you are not used to carrying your own luggage, it might be an issue. We would be very happy to stay here again.
