Happy stay at good price

First things first - my wife and I had a really satisfying stay in this place. Breakfasts were fine (not wonderful, but perfectly adequate and always well-stocked), service was helpful and welcoming and place was new and clean. But it's difficult to place this hotel - rather too large to be 'boutique' and though it had a (small) pool and some loungers well placed to catch the sun it's not a resort hotel which would keep you (and definitely not children) happy throughout your day. It's also sited next to a main road. Rooms were on the small side, but our smallish balcony had room for two to sit at a table and watch sunrise and sunset. However, compared to other hotels in this part of Rhodes Town it was a very reasonable price and very near Rhodes Town's best beach, within easy walking distance of the Old Town and in the middle of restaurants and bars. If you want a stay to enjoy the beach which won't break the bank, recommend this place.
We will return

Enjoyed one night here en route to the airport, at the end of a holiday on Tilos. We arrived early and our room was ready - thank you. The room was delightful, with a view to the sea, and the bed was outstandingly comfortable. The shower cubicle was small, but adequate for one night. Lovely towels.
The buffet breakfast was outstanding, as were the staff.
Very Pleasant Stay.

Booked the Aquamare a month or so ago, and felt the reviews were very positive. So, armed with the thoughts from other guests, I booked a week.
Arriving late the receptionist was very helpful, and check in was swift and easy. The hotel is a perfect location in the new part of the town, around 25 minutes from the airport (€25 - €28 by taxi).
The room overlooking the pool was a comfortable size with a balcony, full air conditioning (no extra charge) with safety deposit box and fridge. Overall very clean well presented room. The rooms are quite well soundproofed, but you may get TV noise from next door.
The pool view was in close proximity to a street at the back with some restaurants and bars, that meant that there was some low level noise at night, the double glazing certainly takes care of it admirably.
Breakfast was very good, lots of choice and all served in a very well presented dining space with an outdoor area.
The pool is small, but in September and considering the hotel was busy, not overcrowded with other guests. I think a lot make the 5 minute walk to the beach.
Just one tip, take your own towels, the hotel doesn’t supply any for pool use and does not permit the use of bathroom ones from your room at the poolside.
Perfectly located for restaurants nearby, or a 10 minute stroll to the old town and the huge variety that Rhodes new or old town has to offer. The staff are all friendly and very helpful.
There is a bar overlooking the street and casino, or take your drinks by the pool during the daytime.
Very good, well done to the team.

our third visit to hotel, soo, love the accommodation. we stayed June of 2017 celebrating my 60th Birthday and our 40th Anniversary. we requested a sea view room and recieved one on the fourth floor a corner room with views of the sea. A lovely balcony , room was very clean, towels were changed everyday.Staff are wonderful Polite and friendly. Breakfast was fine . Pool very small , although we did not attend it. overall, WE loved the exprience. The hotel was on the outskirts of town with many bars and lovely resaurants close by. We definately will go back.
Nice rooms

But compared to last year the shower was a lot smaller, about the size of an ikea wardrobe. In addition there are no USB outlets in the rooms on the 2nd floor and too few power outlets; 3 is not enough with 6 devices needing charging. The WIFI is as bad as last year, multiple login codes are needed and it's UNSECURED WIFI, which is a violation of EU privacy regulations (which the hotel must follow). It would be simple to implement WPA2 enterprise with EAP-AKA for phones and tablets with a SIM card and a dowloadable certificate if no sim is present. And it would improve customer experience a lot over that 1990's webpage.
Other than above issues the room is functional but the bed is too short for people above 1m80 or 6ft. This results in poor rest. Please repkace the beds with 210cm long beds, there is enough room if you are creative.
All in all a functional room but a number of things that need improvement.
