It's about 5-7 min walk from the train station. The single room I stayed in was good and had a modern feel to it. It has a small fridge with water (no mini-bar). Room could do with a few more power points. Breakfast is a bit spartan but sufficient as you want to go out to explore the great Italian food outside.

Fantastic location wonderfull service extremely helpful Allesandro and Govana at the desk but above all super treat indulging rooms including private finish sauna and shower of your dreams. Most definitely a place to come back to a.s.a.p very nice breakfast

You have to have an eye for contemporary interior design to appreciate Hotel Aquila d’Oro (Golden Eagle). We really enjoyed the diverse design interpretations on each floor and in each room. Most rooms have a “water paradise”. This is an elaborate, multi-headed shower with messaging waterfalls, mists, sprays and comfortable seating. There is the additional feature of colored strobe lights. This was an attraction, in and of itself. The location could not be better. We were close enough to the train station to wheel our luggage to the front door. Everything we wanted to do, we could just walk out the front door and be there in a matter of minutes. You are on the Piazza del Duomo and great restaurants, cafes and shopping. The daily breakfast buffet was delightful.

Unexpected hotel! It has been modernised recently. Our room had a bedroom, a roman spa, a bathroom separated into three rooms a toilet, a shower room, and a main bathroom with his and hers basins. The shower was powerful with jets and a surprising led lighting system which changes colurs and shows of the mozaic style tiling.
We didnt manage to make use of the roman spa. Breakfast was great provided in the basement restaurant and from the look of this it can also be used for presentations.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Our only complaint was the difficulty in navigating the one way pedestrian streets in our hire car as we weren't able to get a good mobile signal for google maps but the hotel does have wifi once you arrive. We did find some very helpful locals to assist us. You can park outside the hotel to check in but you can't leave your car however, there is a multistorey underground car park about 400m away.

This hotel has been renovated and is contemporary, chic and fabulous. You can't be the location, the staff is very friendly and accommodating and the rooms are wonderful. The shower is fabulous with multiple shower heads and jets and the room had a dry sauna. There is a great bar and restaurant downstairs. Will stay here again!
