the hotel is right on the beach. there were more Spanish than English but hey you are in spain the entertainment was poor food was good and the bar staff great really friendly and smiling. rooms could do with a refurb but very clean

mostly Spanish holidaymakers so entertainment was all in Spanish. staff were lovely and very helpful and had good English. food was fine always found something to eat. set in a quiet part of town. would be great in summer as right beside the beach. main calpe is 3/4 km away. use the small train which costs 4 euros return and gives a nice tour. don`t get a taxi from hotel as it was 15 euros into town.

Just returned from the Esmeralda having spent 6 days there it was very relaxing and enjoyable all the staff where very freindly allthough there was not many English people staying there the staff all tried there best to comunicate with us I would defiantly return to this hotel

The hotel has a great location, as it is a 1-minute walk to the beach and close to other places to visit, and we appreciated the friendliness and professionalism of staff, cleanliness, high-quality services, the size of the room and the good and wide variety of food. There also two supermarkets and a bus stop close to the hotel, which is very convenient.

We have been to Calpe 20 times over the last 10 years and have never stayed at this hotel, BIG mistake! The hotel is lovely great rooms really clean, lovely pool,great friendly staff and amazing food! The only negative comment I heard was from an English lady who said they all speak Spanish! We will go back again loved it! Thank you for a wonderful holiday.
