Yes, its old. Yes, the building needs maintenance (Windows Wont close, elevators are rumbling and shaking and floors and ceiling have marks and holes)... but. To us it was part of the adventure. The owner and the staff were all Pretty helpful, except a few. (One Tried to make us pay for Four days instead of three nights and aften having talked to his boss, he excused and Said he had misunderstood, which was clearly not the case). But we liked it still. Breakfast was a little adventure at the top floor, buzzling room with Great variety of guest - and a lot of White Bread. Its right next to a little park where they sit with their mate and Dance tango on saturday nights. I would choose it again.

checked in on the first night of three with no problems, on the second morning when leaving the hotel to get coffee the owner says there was a mistake with our reservation and we need to pay an additional 70%. this is after we paid for our room in full of course and have no option to leave because they offered no refunds. needless to say we paid his demand and finished our stay uncomfortably waiting for more demands or harassment. I would highly advise against staying heare.
