Comfortable hotel in interesting town

We spent two nights here as a rest really after touring Spain en route to Portugal. Pleasantly surprised at the old-world elegance of the inside as outside rather grim. Spacious fourth floor room with big windows and views of city. Restaurant good especially menu del dia at €14.90 with excellent local wine and water as à la carte seemed pricey. You need to be able to negotiate a Spanish menu to fully appreciate the choices of food as English is spoken by the reception staff but not the waitresses. Breakfast appeared basic continental buffet style but was actually full of choices such as fresh orange juice, scrambled eggs (hidden under a big platter) and quite varied. We'd booked the private carpark with the hotel but parking was free and easy in the shadow of the bullring opposite. We arrived in the afternoon but it filled up at night and it would no doubt be very busy if you are visiting at a weekend.
Excellent location and Secure Parking Available for a Fee.

This pet friendly hotel is located in the centre of Aranda, very close to the N 1 motorway. There is public parking across the road from the hotel and there is also limited, secure garage parking for a fee of 10 Euros.
The hotel offers spacious, clean accommodation and the provision of free Wi Fi. The reception staff and other staff we encountered were very pleasant, efficient and professional. The inside of the hotel is very well appointed and features lots of period furnishings and decoration.
There is a restaurant offering an extensive menu at reasonable prices and there is also a bar serving tapas and other snacks.
We will certainly be visiting this hotel again next year.
A stop over on the way to Almeria

This was a stop over on our trip from Santander to Almeria. We were concerned as our car was filled with stuff for the new house and I didn't want to leave it on the street overnight. The hotel has a covered garage for around 7 cars. The receptionist has the key and takes you there and locks up after you. It's well worth booking this for 10euros in advance otherwise cars have to be left on the street.
We had a beautiful room with air conditioning and plenty of room in the bedroom and ensuite. Rooms are clean and well decorated.
Hotel can be a little noisy as it is in the town and on a roundabout. I think we were just unlucky though with a noisy neighbour.
Breakfast is a cold serve yourself buffet with plenty of choice.
Next time we drive to Almeria we will probably stay a little further down to lessen the long 6 1/2 hour journey the next day.
Quality and price

A very beautiful and comfortable hotel, very well located in Aranda. Next to the ambient places. The rooms are spacious and comfortables, the bath room is full equiped. This hotel is one of your best elections to visit Aranda.
Modern and stylish on the edge of town

The hotel is located on the northern edge of town so it’s a ten minute walk to the old town, the Plaza Mayor the shopping area.
The room was large, modern, stylish and extremely comfortable with a fabulous bathroom. Friendly efficient staff. Free street parking was available nearby.
It should have been easy to find (opposite the Plaza de Toros) but, even with satnav, I struggled because, when I eventually found the bullring, there was no name on the outside of the hotel. Hopefully they have rectified this now.
