Arayanpara Estate is a rubber plantation, and rubber plantations in Kerala produce most of the latex in India. Rubber is derived from latex, a milky colloid found in the sap of the rubber tree. The trees are tapped, that is, an incision made into the bark of the tree and the latex sap collected and refined into usable rubber. We offer to take our guests for a Plantation tour of our estate. When you trek through our plantation you can watch rubber being tapped, coffee beans being picked �� in fact, a plantation at work.
