Had two separate stays at the Arena. The first room, on the second floor, was shabby, with a tile floor and a oversoft bed. The second room, on the third floor, was much nicer, carpeted, and with a decent bed. The free breakfast was okay, but the selection was very limited. Free parking is a bonus. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to return to thr Arena, especially if guaranteed a refurbished room.

Room was clean and spacious. It is an older hotel so adjust your expectations with regard to bath and fixtures. We enjoyed our stay thanks to a really friendly staff and the close proximity to downtown sites. If you can, get a room that faces toward the interior courtyard rather than outwardly toward the street. It will be much less noisy.

Hotel is a very short walk to the SAP Center which is very attractive. Rooms are tired and in need of refacing. It is a stable 3 star hotel but lacks the amenities of traditional hotels. Free parking and WIFI are a nice touch. For one night the hotel is fine, any longer and I would not have been comfortable.

Rooms were clean and adequate. Standard hotel but getting a little dated and needs to be refreshed. I've had better breakfasts at other hotels but it did the job. Healthier options would be fantastic but also has a WholeFoods next door. Anyway, hotel is close to the arena and close to downtown but a little more economical than some of the alternatives up the street.

I'll get to the point; the place is old, needs a refresh badly! the air conditioning is poor, blows air, but not cold, and I found ants crawling around the room. Believe it or not, the most disappointing thing was the internet. Now I'm in the industry, so I know what constitutes decently performing internet, and this was not even close, so much so I mentioned it to several employees at the front desk, and their response was that management really doesn't care. The internet was what I would describe as not usable. I will never stay at this hotel again, ever.
