We stayed in November as part of a group of about 25 mostly "seniors" from Canada. Our rooms were upgraded from standard to junior suites. The rooms were lovely! A patio surrounded by greenery, very privately situated, large expanse of windows, large bathroom. Very clean and modern. Bar fridge and safe in the room and a coffee maker. Plenty of storage and seating. Breakfast was very good (hot and cold buffet and omelettes to order, good coffee, nice selection of breads/baking) as was dinner. Thermal pool quite enjoyable. Did not use the regular pool but it was pleasantly situated, and we did order one of the wood fired pizzas from the poolside oven, and it was good. The best pina coladas at their 3 bars! Lots of walking on the grounds as our rooms were a fair distance from the thermal pool and Reception, although there is a shuttle if you choose (we walked for the exercise). The grounds are lovely and the staff and service was very good. Would highly recommend and wished we had more time there (and that's a comment I heard from many of our group).

We stayed 2 nights here and wished it could have been longer. The room (302) was very large with a couch as well as a table and chairs. The front deck was a pleasant place to sit and view Arenal Volcano which was directly in front of us. The room was very private as it was surrounded by lush tropical gardens complete with hummingbirds. The pool area was a great place to relax with a mojito. A very picturesque spot.

It was our first trip to Costa Rica, and we could not have picked a better hotel. The room was clean and spacious, the staff was friendly, and the food was fantastic. I’ll be staying here again for sure.

We stayed here for two nights whilst touring Costa Rica. I was so impressed by this hotel. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous. The view of the volcano from our room was to die for! I just couldn't stop taking photographs of it...very Jurassic Park!
The rooms are quite secluded and we could sit outside on the veranda in privacy. The room has an excellent well stocked mini bar, room safe and hair dryer. The food in the restaurant was excellent both for breakfast and evening meal.
We didn't find time to visit the swimming pool or spa unfortunately. Highly recommend this hotel!

The rooms are secluded, so romantic! Went there for our honeymoon and was amazed at how nice the resort is. Two pools and hot springs on site- from the room an incredible view of the volcano; food is decently priced and delicious. Service is exceptional! I would definitely go back here again, my favorite place to stay in Costa Rica!
