Marianne is very friendly and the room we had was very clean, however if you,re vegetarian, this is not a vegetarian friendly bed and breakfast,
we went down for breakfast to find teapots on all the tables, we werent asked if we wanted tea or coffee, it was just assumed we wanted tea to drink,
I informed her as she started to cook breakfast that I was vegetarian, which initially was ok,but I had to go into the kitchen to talk to her about an issue in our room, to discover she was cooking all the hash browns in the frying pan, with the sausages, we werent asked what eggs we would like, as she had already prepared very small ramekins with scrambled eggs in them, and put them in the hostess trolley, and there were also very small ramekins with beans in the hostess trolley, both the eggs and beans were about a tablespoon each,
toast was already cooked,so it was cold, no tomatoes, no mushrooms, bacon was shrivelled up as it had been stored in hostess trolley,
when my plate came out it had 1 hash brown on it and 1 slice of fried bread, which I gave to my husband as I knew how it had been cooked
I explained to Marianne Id given it to my husband as I,d noticed she,d cooked it all with the sausages, and her reply was its too difficult to cook something different for 1 person !!!
She did offer to cook me more toast, but as we had already been downstairs for 30 minutes from 9am,,before breakfast was served I declined as we had to leave in 20 minutes, due to her checkout time at 10am, so my breakfast was, a glass of orange juice,a small bowl of muesli, 1 tablespoon of slightly undercooked scrambled eggs, and 1 tablespoon of beans, and 1 slice of toast, and a cup of tea, we are both coffee drinkers, it would of been nice to be asked if we,d like tea or coffee, hubby had 2 sausages 1 rasher of shrivelled up bacon,2 hash browns including mine,a slice of fried bread, and the afore mentioned eggs and beans,
not very good value for £75 a night, we had to go elsewhere for me to eat afterwards,
there were a couple of issues with the room, which hopefully she will deal with,
when we left at 10am,Marianne knew we were going to be in Haworth all day,due to an event in the village, but she didnt offer to let us keep the car in her carpark, so we had to find somewhere else to park, when we went back to our car later, her carpark was still empty,so I dont know why we couldnt of left the car there,we left the village at 5pm,so Im sure it wouldnt of caused a problem for the car to be left
So all in all not the best stay, and to be made to feel I was a nuisance because Im vegetarian, was really not good, not the most hospitable place we,ve stayed in,and we definately wont be going back to this new build bed and breakfast

Lovely room and friendly welcome!

We booked 2 rooms for 1 night and was told one had a shower and the other a bath so I was slightly concerned as we would probably all be wanting a shower at some point. I should not have worried as the bath had a shower over it! Our room had a gorgeous view of the rolling countryside and a 4 poster bed. The bathroom was lovely and spotless and looked like it had been recently refitted. The towels were thick and absorbent. The bedding was gorgeous. The bed was a bit bouncy and if one of you turned over the other woke up but I still slept really well! Must have been the 5 mile walk to Bronte waterfalls and the stop off at a few pubs enroute! The owners of this B & B were very welcoming and let us leave our car in their off road parking for the whole of the next day even though we checked out at 10am.

Breakfast was ok - only 2 types of cereal and the cooked breakfast is no good if you are a strict vegetarian as the bacon, sausage fried bread and hash browns were pre cooked and in the same bowl kept warm in a hostess trolley whilst you were ready for it. The toast was scummy and plentiful and we still could eat the scrambled egg and beans as they were served in separate pots. You needed to ask for coffee if you wanted it as only tea was served. Also no choice of eggs and no mushrooms or tomatoes.

Was very pleased overall and Haworth is gorgeous with some lovely quaint shops and pubs serving hand pulled ales and good food.

There is a guest lounge in the B & B with a TV and 2 settees. This was lovely to come back to and the settees are so comfy my friend and I nodded off.

Stayed here for one night while visiting Bronte Country. Owners (Marianne and husband) were extremely welcoming - they live in connected next door property. Modern terrace cottage on lower part of Haworth Main Street, close to shops, restaurants, pubs. Bronte Parsonage Museum is at top of hill. Parking at rear of property which is a big positive in a town with major parking issues. Only three bedrooms but all looked very clean and well-decorated, as was entire house. All three bedrooms en suite with flat screen TVs and coffee/tea making facilities, etc. Breakfasts were ample and cooked to order. Very reasonable price - cash up front may reflect previous disappointments.
