This hotel was just what we required: laid back, stylish, not too posh and certainly better than average. Very clean, very comfy beds. We did not have the breakfast which we felt was rather expensive but there were places fairly close by to get a coffee and croissant. The location of the hotel is very good, being less than five minutes walk from the station and easy walking to the city centre. We had a room on the back of the hotel which was quiet. The garden in the square opposite the hotel would have made a good place to enjoy the sun if we had had time. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would visit again if we come back to Nice. Merci!

The hotel is very cute, in a building typical to the riviera. The staff is very helpful, and the rooms are clean. It is located in a neighborhood with shops and restaurants, and it's only 10 minutes walk to the Old City and the promenade.

We stayed in Aria hotel for a week at the end of September. I always choose hotels near the centre but not exactly, in quiet areas, and Aria was exactly that!!! Very near to the Promenade, but quiet away to have a neighborhood feeling!! Also very close to the railway station, which is very convenient for taking buses, trains...
The lovely building faces a nice square where live ordinary people of Nice, not only tourists. The garden of the square is lovely, every morning you see the people talk, walk with their pets, doing tie-tshi, its very nice!!!
The hotel has a very artistic feeling, with small pleasant details such as pictures at the stairs, lovely details to windows etc. The breakfast room (it costs extra) is fantastic- very well decorated, facing the square through big windows. The breakfast itself is a good continental breakfast- no scrabbled eggs and sausages , but it has all the necessary: cereals, milk, fruits, bread rolls, croissants (yamiii!!), yogurts, ham, cheese, boiled eggs etc, it was enough for us.
Our room was spacious, facing the garden in the square which was great and with nice decoration. The bath was enormous for France!!! Very well equipped and plenty of space to put your things.
The very old elevator adds to the lovely feeling, although is small, especially if you are American!!!
The only small things for not giving 5, is that we could hear every step outside our room- but all of them!! The soundproof is not good enough!!!
And another small detail- please add to the baths glasses, the plastic ones do not suit the charm of the hotel!!
So, overall, I loved Aria, its a small, convenient, affordable artistic hotel with lots of charm!!! And the staff are all marvellous!! A very wise decision to stay there!!!
a tip: I had read here, that it was possible to reserve a space for the car just outside the hotel for a good price (its very difficult to find free place in Nice, If possible..) and it was a wise decision to do so.. If you have a car, consider to pay the extra, because the parking in the square just opposite costs more..

The company booked this hotel for a business trip again. Both evenings (between 7 and 10PM), the smell of kitchen and grill from a neighbouring restaurant was so strong that had to keep windows close. If you visit this hotel, ask for a room facing the square.

The hotel is brightly and colourfully decorated. It's also clean and well maintained.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the A/C was effective (if a little noisy). Free kettle and security box.
The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the beach, and 5 minutes from the railway station. Set in a square with a park, it's in a pleasant location. The reception and the breakfast room are flooded with sunshine in the mornings. Breakfast is very fresh and continental and costs 12 euros each.
Our room was a standard double, and great value for money. We intend booking again for the Spring.
