Dirty, stinky and not worth free!!! When arriving we should of paid more attention to the "take down" in the parking lot by a police officer on a bike ( could of been security guard)
Very small children left in the restaurant with large plates of French fries....parents rolling in and out!!! Yikes

Thanks to everyone for their reviews. I had a bad experience and hopefully it gets better before my stay.
After arriving in Las Vegas I mistakenly booked my hotel for the next Saturday night not the one we arrived. The hotel was full.
We call Arizona Charlies Decatur's phone number from their website as we are staying their next week. They booked us, needed to charge our credit card right away , no problem, it was about 10:55 when we called for the reservation and we just needed a room as it was 2 am our home time and we were getting exhausted as we had been up since 4:30 am. We drove to the hotel right away, it took about 25 minutes.
When we arrived the clerk at the check in counter said you made a reservation here? We said yes. Presented out reservation number. He couldn't find it and reservations closed at midnight and it wasn't at that hotel. So now we have a reservation, don't know where it is, and our credit card has been charged. The clerk at the check in counter was of no help at all. He did not try to do anything for us more or less looked at us like we were crazy, even after we presented the phone number we called.
We then asked for his supervisor and the night auditor call Arizona Charles, other location maybei t's inHenderson...no one answered the phone. She tried 3 times in about 15 minutes, no answer. at least she was trying. She then called the Stratosphere, our reservation was there. The reservation clerk on the phone never mentioned Strastosphere and we asked for Arizona Charlies Decatur. We then arrived at the STratoshphere to sleep for 8 hrs. and pay $35 for a resort fee, that we expected to pay under $10 at A/Charlies. We told the clerk about our bad experience and asked if we could have the late checkout (1 hr) so we could get some sleep as now we had been up 24 hrs. Her response, yes, it's $10. So far no customer service from all that we have met. So be careful when you book here as all the information is not given to you and it costs us $24 extra in resort fees and and hour of our time as well as a lot of frustration that is not needed.
Hopefully our stay this week into next week will be good as others say....I will let you know.

We were out there for a ship's reunion and this was the hotel they picked. I was unsure about it since we had always stayed on the strip. We were in for a treat, staff treated us like royalty, everyone had a smile and were so helpful. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. There were two restaurants that served excellent food, also a subway if you wanted something quick. If you want an affordable hotel, one that is quiet but offers all the casino games this is the place.

Great price so the room vs value was good. Room was clean, beds comfortable, TV OK. There is an irritating $9.00 daily resort fee that does include WIFI, but it just gripes me that there is a "resort fee" when there really isn't a resort. Parking very good, with direct entrance to elevators so you don't have to travel through a smoke filled casino to get to your room. One afternoon, there was no hot water for a shower following my morning play in a softball tournament. One nice feature was there was a Subway Sandwich shop in the casino just outside the elevator doors. I'm a FOX news watcher, the TV channel lineup only had CNN, so I ended up watching big league ball games for entertainment.

My husband and I were going to Las Vegas for a long weekend and needed to find a reasonably priced hotel. I had reviewed many of the hotels off the strip. Arizona Charlie's Decatur had many good reviews, along with a few that were not so favorable. I took a gamble and booked a room based on the overall positive reviews I had read. Man, were we glad we did! First off, the hotel's location is off the strip, a few miles away. The area is somewhat rundown, but there are many restaurants, a few shopping stores nearby. The hotel itself is in good shape, plenty of security officers indoors and outdoors, and the entire staff were professional and provided great customer care. We lucked up on a great room rate, and the resort fee is very low ($7.50 a day) compared to other hotels on the strips. There is a casino, 3 restaurants, a gift shop, a well-cared for outdoor swimming pool and spa. There is also a 24-hour Bingo room with pretty good payouts for daily sessions. The casino has both smoking and non-smoking areas. The rooms and hallways were very clean, well-stocked and comfortable (all non-smoking). The food at the Sourdough Cafe was good and reasonably priced. Also, if you are driving a vehicle, there is parking at no charge, and there is valet parking, as well. The hotel is 3 Star in my opinion, and a great place to stay.
