This was my 1st time staying at the Arkana. I found the room fine for what I was after. Very handy having a microwave & some basic crockery & cutlery. I grabbed some takeaway & it was handy having a plate & knife & fork. They even supplied dishwashing liquid & a tea towel.
The shower had good water pressure & the bed was comfy.
The motel is conveniently located & within walking distance to shops & restaurants.
It’s also great that they have different room options from apartments to just a motel room. This motel was good value for money & I’d stay again.

This was the first time of staying in an apartment we are usually lucky enough to get a room in the motor inn part but this 2 bedroom was perfect for us. and we will stay again the hosts were perfect and the motor inn was quiet of a night . There is also a very large clean indoor swimming pool.

The upstairs room was spacious, well maintained and with a modern shower/toilet facilities. Parking was convenient at the base of the stairs on the property. The staff were cheerful and welcoming. The location was quiet with a local hotel restaurant nearby.

We have stayed twice now at the Arkana and found the staff to be excellent, nice clean tidy rooms, very comfortable beds and in a good location close to the CBD.
Its very reasonably priced and we have booked to stay several nights next month in September when we are back down from Adelaide for a rally.

We were looking for a quiet room most motels in Mt Gambier are on the main Hwy. and we were upgraded by a very friendly manager to a upstairs suite at the rear of the property. The room was relatively quiet, well equipped, clean and tastefully furnished and good value, I would recommend.
