We can certainly recommend Arkleside as being a lovely, comfortable, friendly guest house to stay in having recently spent a short stay there.
From making the booking via 'phone to the welcome we received on arrival from Terry and then the way in which Hannah made us so comfortable and at ease was first class. Both of them are tremendous hosts.
The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable with a stunning view of Fremington Edge. The complimentary bottled water along with the usual tea/coffee/ biscuits was most appreciated and a nice touch.
Finally the breakfasts - what a treat! Fresh golden yolked eggs, tasty sausages and bacon with all the trimmings of tomatoes, mushrooms and beans along with toast. All cooked to perfection. There's also a variety of cereals, yoghurts, fresh fruit juice, and pots of fresh fruit. Brilliant start to the day.
Would certainly return to Arkleside if we have the opportunity.

A lovely couple run this little B&B. Located in the picturesque village of Reeth central to shops and pubs etc plus easy access to the beautiful N. Yorkshire countryside. The owners are helpful and informative plus breakfast was very nice. Rooms were comfortable and we had a jacuzzi bath which made great bubbles for our 3yr old! Will definitely go back again!

Totally recommend this place. The warm welcome, the super comfy bed to sleep in, beautiful views and waking up to an amazing home cooked breakfast just topped it of beautifully. We can’t wait to return 🙂

My wife and I have just got back from Reeth having spent three nights at The Arkleside. This is the third time in just over a year we have stayed at Terry and Hannah's excellent establishment and once again, another great experience. Great price, always a warm and inviting welcome, room was clean, awesome view of Fremington, a very comfortable bed, and little extras such as bottled water and biscuit go down a treat.
Despite this being a return visit, it was in fact the first time we've had their breakfast, and I can safely safe it is great value for money especially the bacon!
It is clear that Terry and Hannah are determined to give all guests an enjoyable stay and that they're passionate about the area in which they live.
I would recommend this guest house to anyone!

We spent a lovely week exploring the Dales, what made the week even more enjoyable was Terry and Hannah who made you feel very welcome and relaxed in their comfortable and clean rooms and not forgetting the lovely breakfast. We would definitely recommend
