After a terrible day of flight issues and getting into Charlotte at like 1:00 in the morning, American Airlines gave us a complimentary room at this property. If it had not been so late and an early flight back out, I would have found my own place. I cannot believe American uses this property.
They keep the cost to a minimum by providing no shampoo or conditioner (no matter as there was no hairdryer) but really, the airline had our bags so we had no toiletries. Half the lights in the room had bulbs that were out, the bathtub had mold in the corners, there was no coffee, no clock, no facial tissue, a light outside the window that made you think it was daylight all night, a 4:30 a.m. dumpster truck that made a ton of noise getting the dumpster outside our window. Trash was all in the hall and on the grounds. The only positive thing I can say was the front desk gal was a jewel. She worked hard and was very pleasant getting us checked in and the next morning to the shuttle to get back to the airport.

Had to unexpectedly stay here after we were forced to miss a layover. The rooms were very nice and spacious. Everything was clean. There is a Wendy's and McDonald's right next door and the McDonald's lobby is open till 1 am. The driver/security officer was super friendly and helpful. We had some issues at check in (more the airlines fault then the hotel) but a nice staff member jumped in and helped us quickly (we would told he was new so even more impressed) and made sure we got what we needed as quickly as possible.

So multitude of issues at airport and no motel rooms left but this place. I had very low expectations . The front desk was adequate on what was an extremely difficult day. They did check ID. The room was adequate . The pillows were stiff and the sheets were so starched I couldn't stand it. The shower was adequate and the towels were cheap. So it was adequate place to stay especially under the circumstances

American Airlines voucher hotel- bad choice AMerican. When u make me miss my connect at least put me in a decent place. no AC in our room. 80 degrees in room - disorganized and yucky! Only good part- airport shuttle bus had great AC! Not safe neighborhood either- felt unsafe walking thru parking lot.

Avoid this hotel/motel. I got stuck in airport because of some flight cancellations by American airlines so they sent me to this motel. First they put me in a room which was freshly painted. Then they put me in another room, which was also assigned to other person. Then the lights were not working (only two out of four lights). TV was not working. There was no amenities in the washroom except a single piece of soap. Hotel needs good room inspectors and Franchisee and Franchiser should work together to keep their contract with american Airlines. Writing to airlines to improve the service or face it..
