A place to sleep

I thought I was booking a place close to the airport and would have a car waiting for me. However, when I arrived at midnight, there was no car waiting. I took a taxi using the address I was provided which was about a 20 minute drive. My taxi driver could not find the place so we called the number listed. We were taken to another hotel near by with the same name. This happened to another guy trying to check in as well. Just ensure you are going to the right place. Our room had the basics. Bed, TV, bathroom. Overall it was clean. The configuration of the rooms is really like bedrooms in a house, with a common area in the middle. I left too early to catch breakfast. There is really no reason to stay in this location unless you’re in transit through the airport as need a bed to sleep on. Even then, I think there are locations closer to the airport of the same or better quality.
Transit stay is OK....Rooms are clean, but small. Hidden from the main road...

We stayed here on April 30/2017, during our recent visit to Bangalore. It is about 10 minutes drive from the Airport. Since it is in a by-lane from the main Highway (towards Bangalore) little difficult to identify the location. It is a three bedroom flat converted to a Hotel. Rooms are clean and well maintained. But very small one. We stayed here for less than 10 hours and found it ok for transit stay. The rate quoted to us included breakfast. But we did not find it interesting. Would recommend for transit stay

Staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel seemed to be in the midst of updating with some new paint etc in evidence. Rooms are fairly basic but adequate, some described the hotel as a bit like a youth hostel. Although there is no restaurant we did get some basic food which was fine. It served the purpose we booked it for. The hotel also arranged transfers to the airport for us which was a plus.
Overnight in transit

As we had an early morning return flight to New Delhi we booked an overnight stay in the Arra suites, Bangalore.
Arriving well after dusk, I was pleased to find our welcome to the Arra suites warm and the porterage of our luggage efficient.
The property was brightly lit and had been recently decorated. Our 2nd floor en suite bedroom, accessible by a set of stairs, was clean and the twin beds comfortable. There was a ceiling fan in our room, but no air conditioning. There was however, bottled water, a kettle, wifi, a single wall socket, telephone connection and a tv - although finding an international English speaking news channel proved elusive. There was a modest menu for light snacks and breakfast. More substantial meals were available and fetched by hotel staff from a nearby establishment. Cans of warm beer were available at a significant premium.
