1 Night Stay - Friendly and Helpful Staff
WorldWonderWandereron 23/05/2017 21:57We briefly stayed at Binders during our tour of Austria - we arrived very late after driving through the Alps and the reception staff were very helpful. Our check in rep was very sweet and made sure we tried the water (apparently water is potable all across Austria! After we spent a whole lot of money buying bottled water)
The reality of the hotel is not what appears in the booking pictures. It is a quaint motel - outdated decor and kinda smelled musty. Very narrow hallways - perhaps a modified apartment building?
The room was VERY small and VERY VERY dimly lit - 2 small halogen lights over the headboard. Beds were very small, perhaps child size twin. We could barely see though and had to leave the washroom light on. It was very stuffy with bad air circulation and somewhat aggravated our allergies. There was a safe and a closet, but it was located in a weird place where it would block off the bed/small desk.
Interestingly, the washroom was bright and modern and pretty big in comparison to the room. I had issues with the slow water pressure and it took forever to take a decent shower after a long day on the road.
The room was functional for a brief stay - I think I would get frustrated if I had to stay any longer. The staff were so kind though that it made up for it.
No room to swing a cat? No room to bring in a cat!
IrelandsIslandHopperon 16/05/2017 18:16This was probably the most expensive hotel I've ever stayed in, but by far the poorest quality. Innsbruck is an expensive city and we stayed on New Year's Eve.
Binder's is located in the dodgiest part of town and it's a horrible, iffy 20 minute walk to all the sites. It's supposed to be a 4 star hotel with 4 star prices but with a hostel atmosphere and quality. SPEND YOUR MONEY ON A HOTEL IN SEEFELD AND VISIT INNSBRUCK ON A DAY TRIP
Good hotel
JanNeznanon 05/03/2017 17:45Close to the footbal stadium and ice rink. 15 min walk to the city centre. Clean rooms. Great breakfast buffet with freshly squezed orange juice, perfect espresso , and good food selection. Lacking a restaurant otherwise good value for money
It is not a 4* place!
Majkochaon 18/02/2017 07:04Surprised seeing 4*: parking in the street, paid wifi, poorly equipped rooms, ugly downstairs bar. First time in my life I have seen receptionist following the 4 of us, once we came back from the dinner, checking which room we enter- is it so unusual that 4 people family pay for 4 beds in the room?
Bathroom was okey, we did not check breakfast (paid extra).
Convenient stay at decent price
Mac_Harryon 30/10/2016 10:38If you are looking for a decent price for Innsbruck standards, Arthotel Binders is a solution. It's 20' on foot from the central station in a quiet area. The room we got (302) was recently renovated, looked modern, was very warm and clean, and had a small balcony with nice view over the mountains. The bathroom door slides across the room and doesn't give the best privacy. The rest was fine.
Hotel breakfast is ok but better book through their website otherwise you pay 15e per person and wouldn't say it's worth it.
