Big hotel, average quality

The location is not the best in the area and it used by big group of tourists to visit Florence
The structure is recently renewed, so the accommodation is good even if I did not like the design
As usual in Italy the breakfast is disappointing, again juice from concentrate, disgusting
Dishonest
ianmiddon 30/09/2017 16:56Advertises Airconditioned Rooms. This is dishonest because although it appears to be installed IT IS TURNED OFF throughout the hotel. Surely this is fraud!
I was told to "open the window". It's just as hot outside and plus there's traffic noise ALL NIGHT from the busy main road right in front.
Restaurant jammed up with some huge noisy party. Given 3 mins to choose evening meal. There was only two items so that wasn't hard.
Chose one of each. Not impressed with either. Very cheap and cheerful.
Staff generally helpful but not very motivated.
Won't be coming again.
Oh! The wifi is fine by the way, if that's your priority.
Chose between dual carriageway at front or industrial estate at back. Good luck!
Very bad experience
Vladoi Bon 28/09/2017 18:19This hotel looks like a 2-star hotel. Very dirty rooms, struck walls, cracked and dirty, dirty bathroom and gray towels, very cold in the room and no air conditioning, very poor breakfast.
All of these problems at the reception had no resolve!
I would never come back to this hotel!!
Very bad experience
b1368on 27/09/2017 15:15The hotel is newly renovated. However, the room's amenities was bad. They use portable air conditioning. It could not work properly. When I want to call the Receiptionis, the phone in my room didn't work either. It was too bad for us. I walked through the receiptionist, she promised that the techinician will repair it quickly. After waiting, nobody came to our room. I must walk AGAIN to receiptionist for second complain.
After repairing, the AC portable gave noisy sound. As consequence, we couldn't sleep well at that night.
For breakfast, there was only just few selections. And they have some menu WITH EXTRA PAY. It's ridiculous for us. The staff at that time didn't tell us when we picked the fruit and cake slices. But, when it has been in our plate, they told us that the fruit and cake slices must be pay separately.
Overall, bad experience and definately will not came back again. Bad service!
Good and bad
candyh427on 22/07/2017 10:51The rooms were very spacious and well appointed the hotel was clean and well run the desk staff were very helpful and friendly
The location wasn't the best but that's not really the hotels fault it was well located for business though and there was a train station at the end of the road straight into Florence.
In summary great hotel, not so great location.
