4 night stay bed and breakfast the hotel is on the grand canal, so no dragging luggage around..its a beautiful old building modernised to great standard with exceptional bathrooms!.. It was very busy during our stay but the rooms are very quiet, you sleep a little to well due to the shutters being closed at night, cutting out both light and noise from the canal..
We drank at the hotel bar most nights (closes @ midnight) and Lucio gave us invaluable knowledge of local resturants and cafes..
Breakfast offers wide range of food catering for all tastes together with Processo if wanted..
Reception and management team are very friendly and helpful. Take note when warned of full moon high tide as the hotel does have water lapping on the walkways and upto the doors..
Would recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to Venice.

The hotel is located right in the heart of Bologna, and a 20 minute walk to the main train station. We liked our room very much and appreciated the welcome champagne and note congratulating us on our honeymoon. Breakfast was delicious and one of the best we had in Italy. We stayed at other Art Hotels in Bologna, and this was just as good as the others.

Lovely hotel and very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast buffet was very good with plenty of great coffee. It can be noisy outside as the big walls bounce the sound around but double glazing and air con sorted it out. Really enjoyed our stay

Terrific small hotel close to everything with a very helpful staff. Rooms are lovely,clean and quite. Would come back again. Especially enjoyed the food tour of the city. The shopping was wonderful. A beautiful quint city full of life!

The Art Hotel Orologico is one of three properties in the same area so you can look at each of them to find the kind of accommodations you are looking for. The location of all three is wonderful, just off the main square in the old section of Bologna, Piazza Maggiore. Our room was very nice, the hotel staff was more than helpful and the morning breakfast was a very good buffet. There is no other food service in the hotel but there are restaurants immediately outside the front door that are very good so it is not a problem. Our only complaint was not with the hotel but with the noise from the street. The other two hotels in the Art group appear to be in a quieter location.
