I don't know about you but someone needs to stop calling this the "poor-man's Boracay" Water is very very clear even at 10ft deep. Sand is good! I would advise to wear aqua shoes because it sea bed has lots of pebbles. Waves are calm, no undertow.
It only takes 2-3 minutes to walk up and down the White Beach shore. There are 24/7 cafes that serves good brewed coffee. Stay in any hotel you pick, you'll be fine.
I only wish that there are more trash bins with ash trays! Locals were smoking everywhere, throwing cigarette butts all over the place.
Night life was exciting and lots of activities available like banana boat ride, island hopping, snorkeling, land tour.

White beach is small and packed. You get harassed every 2 minutes by someone trying to sell you jewellery and they are pretty persistent. The beach itself is pretty poor by philippines standards. The beach bar entertainment consists of lady boys doing ridiculous theatrical performances in tagalog and fire dancing. Just go to boracay instead.

Its so relaxing to be there… theres a lot of activity that the locals can offer you those are the snorkling along the other islands the sea activity like jetski, banana boat ride and something else, when the night comes there are a lot of bars along the sea shore and you can also wacth those locals who perform the fire dancing along the sea shores.. this place worth your time to travel especially when you were from metro manila its a great escape from the crawded place of metro manila and its also a good place to meditate and refresh your minds… so don't hesitateto visit this place coz not the price that its worth nor your experiences in this wonderful place of puerto gallera

I have loved White Beach since my first time here last year--this is my third time. I love how the seabed, mostly, is pebbles. I don't like the feeling of slimy wet sand on my feet. The waves were absolutely perfect, and the view during sunset is just breathtaking.

so relaxing here. lots to do, many places of interest near by. local foods and international dinning.
