My husband and I always stay here when we go to Blackpool for our northern soul , at the Wainwright club, the owners are lovely people, and the place is spotless, not a speck of dust any were, the meals are really good , and there parking at the rearer.
Very good B&B except for the wi-fi.

If it wasn't for the wi-fi it would have been perfect. Attentive hosts, good breakfast included in price and free wi-fi. Only trouble was the wi-fi only worked in my room (and poorly at that) very early in the day or late at night. If I wanted to use it at other times I had to go sit on the stairs (yes I could have gone to the lounge but that would mean 36 stairs down and up again carrying my 17" laptop!) and even then the signal was only 'fair'. I appreciate it is an old house, but in this day and age it should not be difficult to get wi-fi in every room - and if you're going to advertise it...
Great stay with great hosts

A very enjoyable stay at Ash Lodge. Very clean, nice rooms and hosts were extremely helpful and welcoming-including a sellotape repair for my son's lightsabre and accommodating a late checkout. Breakfast was very tasty with plenty of choice and top ups no problem. Would definitely recommend and stay again.
Fabulous base for a visit to Blackers

Having stayed at quite a few B&B's in Blackpool, we were put off ever coming back even though we felt we did our research.
The Ash Lodge, is about a 10 min walk from Coral Island, the Tower, trams & beach. The place is comfortable and clean. An ideal base for families wanting to visit Blackers for a few days, but dont want to be part of the hen & stag night life. I would & have recommended Ash Lodge.
Lovely, friendly & very helpful owners makes this place spot on.
We will definitely be back in the future.Thank you Margaret & Mary for our lovely stay. You have restored my faith in Blackers.
Very friendly and pleasant stay

Staying at Ash lodge was like staying with family, in a good way. Very friendly owners, lovely Victorian house tastefully renovated and comfortable rooms. Breakfast was cooked to order Good quality fresh ingredients. This hotel is easy for accessing Blackpool Victoria hospital if visiting. I stayed on my own visiting a relative, I was made very welcome greeted by name in the morning and an enquiry on how I was getting on visiting - not intrusive just very genuine. Would recommend and hopefully return.
