We stayed at the Ashburn Hotel in November. It is a boutique hotel with friendly, helpful and hard working staff . Our room was spotlessly clean with amenities for that afternoon cup of tea in-house. A safe was also provided for those travelers carrying either gold bullion or, in our case, simply a safe house for passports etc. Two qualities that were very much appreciated was how quiet our room was, sleep never disturbed. Also, it is a non-smoking hotel evidenced by the fresh environment around us. It is so centrally located to London's treasures e.g., the Royal Albert Hall, the V&A or Science Museum ... just the beginning. We enjoyed walking from the hotel through Hyde Park to Oxford Street mingling with the dog walkers, children on scooters and the proverbial bird life.

Pleasant hotel in a good location. Lovely welcome on arrival. Nicely furnished clean room and bathroom, with good quality toiletries. Comfortable lounge and bar area. Very friendly and helpful staff, nothing seemed too much trouble. Will definitely visit again.

This is a small boutique hotel located very near the tube station in South Kensington with 3 different tube lines. There are numerous restaurants right there as well as a supermarket. The room was quite large and nicely furnished. The staff was helpful and we really enjoyed our stay.

I stayed in this hotel for 4 days.
First of all dont expect a big room. No place to put your luggage. Bathroom is small there is no place to put your staff on.
Breakfast is very poor. Just cheese and bread. Honey and milk. If you want egg it is extra money.
The doors in the coridor is closed very noisy which interrupts your sleep.
It is really hard to communicate and tell what you want to the staff on the reception.
The only positive thin is it is very central and very close to the metro station.

My wife and I stayed here in July primarily to attend Wimbledon. The location is excellent if you want to enjoy Hyde Park one day and spend another at Wimbledon. Traffic was very bad in the area when we were there, so watch out for that if taking a cab. The hotel itself was clean, good bed/pillows, and a decent complimentary breakfast. For the value compared to other London hotels we did very well. Kind of quirky design in the bathrooms, but it worked for 2 nights. There is complimentary champagne at happy hour which very people took part in (but my wife and I made sure to grab a glass or two). For travelling to the city (when you do not need to spend a lot of time in your room) I would suggest the Ashburn.
