We arrived about 3pm even thought booking in is not until 5pm , There was people there cleaning up and gave us the key ( they left soon after and the restaurant. does not open until 5 ) , The chalet there are 10 of them are set out at the side of the restaurant.were spacious and clean , there are 2 double beds , wardrobe , desk , kettle and tea and coffee , TV the signal was not great , The bathroom is massive , Bath , with a good shower over it , Big car park and it was quite . It was easy to find straight of off the A1 , it was a 5 min drive to Newark town . Would stay again.

I Stayed at The Ashiana recently and I was very disappointed. The staff were extremely rude on check in, no welcome, very blunt. The bathroom in the room stunk of sick, there were hairs on the floor, shower was dirty and the bedroom had cobwebs around the ceiling. The TV did not work.

I booked a room here 2 months ago, checked last week that the booking was O.K. Today, a day before we are due to arrive they have sold the room to someone else. Be aware that they will do this to you. They have done me a favour as I have another booking at a better place. They are the losers as we always had a meal at their restaurant. I do not believe that they had made a mistake, they have sold the room to someone who want a few more nights. Will never stay there again. I have heard that they have done the same thing with someone else. Best to book somewhere where you know they will not let you down. I see that they have had terrible reviews.

No were to check in staff were sleeping at 3pm, no room service told to wash cups in sink. Tv goes on and off, lumpy beds, only good thing is decent hot shower, no local amenities very close to main road and train lines. Others provide better.

i made a booking through Bookings.com with free cancellation. This hotel took the full balance of £150 rather than a small deposit. I cancelled the rooms nearly 2 months ago and i am still chasing for the refund. Stay away.
