Ashling Hotel Dublin
Revisited my Old Friend the Ashling Hotel Dublin to celebrate a Special Birthday! And once again the staff at the Ashling “excelled”.
Got a room at the Front of the Hotel, being a “Light Sleeper” the noise of the Luas can waken a little too early when Savanna asked on Friday was everything OK she immediately New by Body Language there was a problem and sorted a room change to the back of the Hotel. Much appreciated
Rooms spotless, comfortable and nicely finished!
Breakfast has to rank as one of the best in Dublin!
A selection that is overwhelming, Juices, Water, Fruits, Breads x 10, Cold Cuts and smoked fish, and a Full Irish Buffet.
Here the food is fresh, vibrant, well presented and perfectly served onto a warm plate!
It also tastes of quality and real interest by the people who have produced this offering.
My other pleasure is the Ivy Bar always buzzing! Always offering a fantastic experience.
We eat in the Chesterfield Restaurant on Friday which was most enjoyable!
Staff very attentive and food was excellent but the room did lack an atmosphere!

The Menu is so generous offering such a wide selection of options but more importantly delivering food of exceptional quality and an atmosphere that is very relaxing and friendly.
Everything was so good Hot & Kicking Chicken Wings that were tasty enjoyable and didn’t Scald the taste buds.
Iveagh Bar Burger was as it said Classic! But I have to say the Super Food Salad was one of the Nicest dishes I have tasted in many years it was Stunning.
Baby Spinach, Roasted Squash, Pomegranate, Hazelnuts, Goats Cheese with an Orange & Ginger Dressing!!!!!
The Service was attentive, competent and courteous.
Why I think the Ashling is so Good the management and staff are interested in the Guest! They are pro-active if there is a worry they sort it out.

The hotel was great, very close to The Guiness Storehouse. The breakfast was excellent and staff was very friendly,Martin and Ion were extremely helpful
Would definitely come back next time we visit Dublin.

When we first arrived, our room had a horrible smell. The front desk took a long time to send someone to investigate and it took a lot of convincing to move us to a different room. Even then, the rooms themselves felt a little dumpy. The breakfast area was chaotic (this hotel caters to large tour groups) and did not feel the cleanest. The redeeming part of breakfast was a super friendly chef who did great made-to-order breakfasts (although it was actually not clear this was an option). The location is a little out of the way and I would recommend taking the tram, which is conveniently just outside the hotel.
This hotel seems to market itself as a boutique hotel, but it is like a 3 star chain hotel in North America.

Stayed at this hotel for one night and was really impressed. On arrival we got upgraded to a suite which was really nice. The hotel is in a really good location with Heuston station and the Luas right on your doorstep. The staff were really helpful and friendly and the food wad first class in the bar and also at breakfast. Cant wait to return.

We stayed in this hotel at the start of our tour for 3 nights and can't say enough about the helpfulness of the staff and the great location to the city. Trams are just a short walk away to take you right into the Temple Bar area. The room was lovely and the only downside was the shower which was very narrow and had an extremely clingy shower curtain. Otherwise, everything was wonderful. Would definitely stay here again!
