Checkin was a atrocious even by budget hotel Indian standards. After a long flight you'd hope for a welcome rather than being pushed aside and have to wait 1/2 hour. Then to barter extortion prices for an early check in despite rooms available. Really bad attitude from desk clerk. Delhi at its worst.
Rooms smelt pretty damp. The buffet breakfast was a bit of a rip off - although the omelettes were a saving grace. Dinner again was v expensive for avg fare.
Pool was small, but ok considering. Grounds ok. Other staff were friendly.
Avoid this place if you can.
OK for a stopover

We stayed here for a night at the beginning and end of a three week trip to India and its proximity to the airport (20-25 min on a good day) no doubt accounts for its popularity with western tour groups. The rooms are a good size and the showers worked, though we did have a problem with a stuck sink plug (something also reported by a fellow traveller). The best aspect was probably the food, of which there was a good choice and thankfully not too slanted to international tastes. The staff were perfectly efficient and polite but it's really only a stopover place.
Awesome Hospitality

Generous staff, ground to earth attitude. Clean rooms and overall resort. Good place for a day with family to enjoy and relax. All amenities like pool, health club, spa, Bar etc available. Lots of expatriates to mingle and share various experiences.
Highly recommended...
Keep up the good work.
A lovely resort. I was very impressed from the moment I stepped into the foyer.

The room layout and decor was fantastic , especially the dinning room. The hotel has managed to retain it's old world charm.
The sprawling lawns and pool is very relaxing and the added bonus this close proximity to the airport and the other delights of Delhi.
Rustic but Charming

We were a little apprehensive when we checked into this hotel which was part of our tour. But I was pleasantly surprised. Its not bad at all. A little on the old fashioned side. Neat and tidy. Yes a little bit musty smelling as you enter but that gives way to a charming place. Our family loved it. Rooms (ground floor) were clean and comfortable. Bathroom was adequate. Yes the fittings are a bit old and needs and upgrade but to me it went with the charm. Hotel staff are exceptionally helpful. This is the best food in India I had. The buffet is loaded and very (did I say very) tasty. If you are paying for the food its about INR 750 per person which I thought was very high. But we were charmed by the food so we did not mind. One issue I saw was after the first wave of guests finish eating the tables are not cleaned quickly so it is messy if you come late for Dinner or lunch. So go early. Some food items like the flat bread they dont keep on the buffet table for long. So if you find any item missing you should ask the staff and they will bring you freshly made puri/ naan etc.
The garden is very nice. Take a break, sit and have a chat in the evening. You will love it. The pool was very clean. We did not use it though.
