Great family vacation at Pangot. Naini Chalet is at an excellent location right at the foot of the Naini peak and is always literally surrounded by clouds. Courteous staff, home style good food and a view to savor. We chose this property due to the proximity to the Naini peak and were keen for a hike to the top of the mountain but couldn't make it due to the rains. It was disappointing but fortunately the stay at the hotel more than made up for it and we thoroughly enjoyed.

This hotel has the best service in this area the view from this hotel is superb amazing eyecatching.. If one is going for peace away from the city life then one should visit pangot this place is near to nanital in utrakhand. This is a new tourist place the best season to visit this place is in September to may.

Ashoka Naini Chalet Resort,situated in the picturesque Valley of Kilburry Forest in Pangot is one of the finest resort of Nainital. From decor to its location ,its marvellous. Food n services are v good.

The plan was sudden and we chanced upon and got started from Delhi.
The drive was great and no problems at all to get to the resort... exactly what we were looking for ... calm serene place and a peaking view!!
The food and nice and the staff was courteous too!!
The stay was very nice and exactly filling as we wanted.
Will return too!!

the hotel is situated at pangot which is around 17 kms from nainital and it takes 1-2 hours to reach there due to hilly route. also no vehicle available easily. only option is to call a cab from nainital which charges around rs. 1500-2000 just one side from hotel to nainital. so it leads to wasting of huge amount of money daily just to travel from hotel to nainital . also there are issues with mobile network. due to the location of hotel no mobile network is available.
but if we consider the stay at hotel the experience is very good. the staff is very courteous and friendly. the food also is very good.
due to remote location it is not very suitable for a stay.
