We stayed for 3 nights in a premier room which was well appointed with king size comfortable bed, quiet at night and had fabulous views over the beach, river, canal, lock, hillsides and part off the town. Free Car parking available. Breakfast was a little disappointing, as although there were some choices, felt not enough for price of stay. However the restaurant Creole style food was outstanding!

The hotel is in a great position for visitors to Bude,the hotel is clean and the bedroom and restaurant area were comfortable and the hotel was value for money we felt. Before booking we were aware of the small car park and small lounge area but it is bright. What we didn't count on and it is the first time ever that we were not able to eat in the hotel restaurant (closed Sundays and Mondays) which was fully booked so my tip is if you book early book the restaurant.
Breakfast was OK and all the staff were pleasant

Checked in late last night , very friendly response and great advice on local Indian Bude Tandoori which was also excellent
Room 17 very comfortable shame I had to miss breakfast but certainly will return .. thank you

We were in Cornwall looking to buy a chalet/static caravan, and needed a base to work from. This Hotel fitted the bill. We had a double room at the back of the Hotel as we were not interested in a sea view. The room was quite large enough for our needs, and was spotlessly clean, with a well stocked coffee/tea/ kettle, and this included decaff. A really nice touch was a quantity of books in the room about British sharks and also several about British birds. the bed was a double, and was comfy although a little small as we have a super kingsize at home!! The hotel was nice and tidy, quiet, and again spotlessly clean. We used the dining room only for breakfast, which was a delight! Well cooked food, not greasy, and plentiful. This room is used during the evening as a Creole restaurant, and each night was full of people enjoying their meals. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the decor was modern chic, which would have not looked out of place in a city centre boutique type establishment. A thorough;y nice hotel, and a lovely stay for us.

Had two nights here nice size double room at a reasonable price. Sea views were available but as we only couple nights were took the back of hotel Very clean throughout hotel nice comfortable bed would stay again if in area
