Very good location. A nice restaurant in front of the hotel named Boca Grande. There is a tourist guide to give you information about several tours through the beaches and other touristic places. We visited the volcano which is located about one hour by bus from the hotel. The mud (medicinal) bath is awesome, a different experience...

This hotel is located very close to the beach and it's a cheap taxi to get to the walled city. The staff was patient with our "emerging" Spanish and was very helpful when we had questions (and even when we had a problem with a crazy cab driver!) the rooms have plenty of space and have all the basic amenities (including hot water!) one would expect at a hotel with this value. Sadly, the casino did not have craps (turns out - no craps in Colombia), but it was still fun to play some blackjack after a night on the town.

The rooms are a bit small, and when I tried to sit on a recliner by the pool it completely fell apart. The staff also made a big hassle when my friend tried to come up with me to get something before dinner and tried to make me pay 50% extra just to have somebody who wasn't spending the night come up for a few minutes. I asked to speak to a manager and the front desk called him and explained the situation right in front of me but then hung up and told me he was having dinner and was unavailable.

If you have a guest, unless they have a passport they can not come to your room. A Colombian national ID is not good enough. Probably a security thing but this will definitely sour your experience if you're a solo traveler.

The location is perfect! The room was extremely clean and the staff very polite. The wifi worked all the time even though some people had complained about it. The casino next door is a good distraction of you want to try something different. It is surrounded by many great restaurants and bar; there are several supermarket in walking distance. I will stay there again. The only bad thing is that the pool is rather small.
