Stayed here for one night while on an Intrepid tour. I was happy with the accommodation (despite single beds in the room). The walk in shower worked well, and the bed was comfortable. Of course the view from the window is amazing - you can see the town of Chefchaouen below you. Wifi only works in the lobby. Breakfast could have been better.

The mattress was broken on one bed and everything else was falling apart, broken, dinged, cracked etc. We told them we were on our honeymoon so they UPGRADED us to a panoramic view. Yes the view was incredible but the room was a dump. It's a shame because this place could be really special if they'd put some money into it.

Not the best place to stay in Chaouen...too far away from the city center...only the panoramic view is nice from here.
The hotel is dirty and staff is not really helpful.
There are better options to stay in this town...

Having booked this place, it is apparently known by two names and it takes some finding as it is quite a way put of town. However, it would once have been a grand hotel with fantastic views over the old town below, however not much seems to have changed in the last thirty or more years. But clean, spacious and good value

The view from the beedroom was amazing, and that's it.
I stayed one night and the bedroom was ok for what you are paying beds were excellent, I slept like a stone, really comfortable. The wifi is just in a really small lobby and is difficult to go to the city if you don't take a taxi.
If you look for a retirment would be great, if you want to be in contact with the city I don't know if it would work.
Food was good, but one can expect more variety.
Some halls had leaks, so maybe this hotel needs a remodelling.
The attitude of the staff was really good, always trying to help
