Pleasant Getaway!

Decent place
stargazron 26/09/2017 22:06Stayed at the Atria in McGregor recently - the room was very quiet, bed was very comfortable. Front desk staff was extremely friendly. Nice overnight stay, clean room. If ever in the area again, would definitely stay again.
You don't quite get what you pay for....

Let's start with the outside: the building looks decently new, however the sign is sketchy...
The hotel is split into smoking and non- smoking by doors, that do a decent job of keeping the smoke smell contained.
Our room smelled like mildew and mold. The bed had impressions in, like worn places where so many people had slept in it. The cleanliness of the sheets was questionable and the floors were full of dead bugs and dust bunnies.
I thought being 20 min from magnolia market this place would be decent and getting to pull in some of that business, but apparently not.
They also don't serve breakfast.
The only redeeming thing was the shower. By far the best water pressure ever, however, it tended to flood the bathroom floor if the bathroom door was opened while showering.
A bit too rustic

Front desk person was very nice. Was going to stay two nights but could not stand the smell. I get migraines easily.
NOTHING to do here.
I was really lookng forward to the pool.
Not a second stay
Sandy Aon 30/07/2017 16:26No elevator, building smells of smoke, shower flooded the bathroom. The breakfast is horrible. Old hard muffins no milk or juice for cereal. Room is fine but the rest is horrible. I can say the price is nice but the amenities are not what they say.
