Don't know where to start! Extreem friendly staff. The upgrade to a room with private Pool. The excellent bed. The massage bad. The view. The swimming pools. The restaurants. The complementary wine/fruit. Wish we had booked for more then one night!

The hotel is exceptional and when our driver described it as the best hotel on Rhodes our expectations were high. We were not disappointed. Lovely well tended gardens, enormous pools. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful at all times. We stayed in a beachfront suite with our own private pool and only a few steps down directly on to the beach and the beach bar. Very spacious room with large lounge area and outside sunn terrace with sea views. The restaurant buffet was extensive with a choice of different individual dishes prepared each evening as we had dinner every evening. Particularly enjoyed the theme nights. One of our best hotel holidays.

We loved this place. ALL the staff were friendly, and helpful. The place was very comfortable, spacious and unhurried. Although it was busy there were never any queues for anything. Rooms excellent. Food excellent.

We tried to determine what makes a hotel 5 stars? There are a number of criteria which definitely apply to this hotel but some which don’t. Location- there is no doubt that the location is carefully chosen, the seaview was amazing but if you want explore the island you would ideally need a car. There is nothing in walking distance from the hotel, you are in quite a remote area. We don’t mind that as we always hire a car. The airport is 1.5-2 hour transfer btw. The nearest town is the picturesque Lindos, which offers plenty of shops, alley ways and lots of very good restaurants. But back to the hotel: reception staff were lovely, helpful and knowledgeable which was great. Food: We had BB only and the breakfast offered a lot of excellent choice (including the occasional sushi). But one morning we waited 40 min for a latte. We also had room service occasionally which was very nice and actually reasonably priced. We did not like the set up and style of the main restaurant, the first floor was a mixture of odd almost over-opulent styles and the downstairs felt like a cafe. The 2 a la cart restaurants on the beach looked a lot more stylish and had a great view. We tried 2 different rooms- the premium seaview which offered just that- perfect view right by the seafront and then a family bungalow with private pool. We loved having our own garden with pool (which in October was warmer than the many big pools or the sea). Oddly though when sitting by your pool there was very little privacy. Anyone walking by sees you sitting there. We recommend a gate to the patio? A couple of points to note, the bed in the children’s room was too short for our 15 year old. We had to repeatedly ask for milk/sugar for the coffee maker and for an extension lead as there were not a lot of sockets. There were no extra pillows either, something i would expect as standard in good hotels. We had to call for those. What was really odd though was the fact that all the tiles on the paths were dangerously slippery to the extent that we nearly fell over a couple of times. We were able to slide down the hill. The spa looked great but the treatments were pricey. There was even a charge for 30 min yoga. Free exercise class are common in other 5 star hotels. There were excellent sporting facilities and a kids club but sadly nothing for teenagers. Although we were told the hotel had 80% occupancy it felt quite and almost empty. We certainly did not feel crowded and as we cherish our privacy and independence, we had a lovely time and definitely enjoyed our seaviews and the very well looked after outdoors of the hotel. The pool with the little chapel in the middle is well worth a visit. But we are not convinced our overall experience was 5 star.......

This hotel is excellent for a deep rest, a real holiday, right at the sea, without missing any comfort of avery good 5 star hotel. We have been here many times and its quality is excellent as always before. Congratulation and Thank you to the whole team . We will miss you all.
