What People are saying

Sleepless in Bromont

Paul Gon 04/10/2017 12:29

Rooms in serious need to be renovated... Smelly carpets and matress.

On check-in I ask if there's room service (since there is a restaurant) but am told the restaurant is closed since this is off season. Had a long day and was hungry and tired. Had to go out and find a restaurant nearby that is open.

Time and money wasted, never coming back here...

Covenient location

Nice to walk out with clubs and play. Solid value for money spent. When we return to play the course we will definitely stay L'Auberge again. Despite a mixup in reservation, resolution was very quick and to my satisfaction.

Great stay in a renovated room

Loved the location; over-looking the golf course
the service; excellent, bi-lingual front-desk help and cleaning was well done
and the room; renovated, spacious, modernized but still charming, with a fully updated bathroom.

Also love that it is connected to the golf course and only a block from 'Broumont' pub!

Golf Tournament

Had a golf tournament yesterday, the course was in excellent condition. Love those new golf carts with GPS.
We had cocktails on the terrasse after the game. Nice choice of Micro Brewery beer.
For the food, it was buffet style and very good.

Auberge or Chateau Bromont? A quick comparison

Lisa Bon 28/03/2017 20:49

We recently stayed at both the Chateau Bromont and the Auberge Bromont on two consecutive weekends in March 2017. Here are some general observations:-

The hotels are owned and operated by the same group. The Chateau is the more upmarket of the two hotels and this is reflected in their pricing (approx 40% more per night).

When we stayed at the Auberge we got a 2 queen renovated suite which was brand new, very specious and well appointed with a small fridge and coffee maker. The Chateau room was less modern looking (carpeted with heavy drapes) and tended to be a bit smaller (we had a king bed room). Both had reasonably sized bathrooms, the Auberge only had a walk in shower and no bath but the room itself was more modern and new.

Both hotels were well located close to the ski area, the Chateau is a little closer and within walking distance and they also offer shuttle service.

Our room at the Chateau overlooked the indoor pool which made the room feel very dark at all times plus it was not as nice as seeing the mountain like we were able to from our room at the Auberge.

Both rooms were a little noisy; The Chateau had noise from the pool area whilst the Auberge had noisy traffic in the corridors and we could hear noises from the room next door, so if you're a light sleeper it's good to keep that in mind.

The Chateau had more restaurant options including a full buffet breakfast and room service, while the Auberge only had one restaurant which was closed for the season. In the morning, the breakfast option was a small table with some yogurt, fruit, muffins and croissants however this was completely free.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at both locations and based on price I would say the Auberge was the better option for us especially since we used our car to drive our skis to the ski area.

Staff were very pleasant and helpful at both hotels and we definitely plan to visit and stay again.
