Quaint older hotel
Kathy Lon 20/10/2017 14:10Very clean and comfortable. Beautiful lobby - a page from the past. Some rooms look out on the Ottawa River. Beds are comfortable, rooms have windows that open - that is a bonus! Bathrooms are large and clean. Overall this is a lovely old hotel with character.

Valley74on 11/10/2017 16:55We stayed at the Auberge for a wedding at the Fairmont Montebello, as the prices were much more affordable. The place was very charming and clean. The decor fit the era of the place. Owners and staff were very friendly and accommodating.
If you are looking for a modern, slick, city style hotel...this is not it...and that is what I liked about it. ;)
Would absolutely book here again.
terrydeb2017on 11/09/2017 20:53Stayed here for 2 days Labour week-end for a wedding. The room was spacious and well maintained. The continental breakfast had ample enough choices for everyone. The staff was superb, friendly, pleasant and accommodating!! We would definitely recommend anyone to this hotel! Teresa
Old fashioned but charming
Lorraine Von 17/08/2017 22:54One of the best things about this establishment is the manager. Always friendly, he seemed to be everywhere and was eager to assist guests in any way he could. The hotel itself has an old world character. Although our room was comfortable, it could benefit from an update and improved housecleaning. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast.

Carrie Hon 25/07/2017 03:32We stayed at the Auberge for a wedding on July 21st 2017. Spending only one night here prior to heading the the Fairmont Montebello for our final night and the wedding venue itself, we weren't sure what to expect. We were able to check-in early- even when there was almost no vacancy, they still expedited the process to ensure we could unpack and unwind before heading off to a rehearsal dinner. The hotel itself had a hot, powerful shower, nice bed, big enough room, great pool for a dip with both shallow and deep options and a yummy, filling breakfast the next morning. I even forgot my swimsuit hanging in the bathtub and when I went back 2 days later, the housekeeper still had it waiting for me in a little baggie on her trolley. I appreciated that very much as often things can randomly disappear. While the Fairmont down the road caters to a much more elite crowd, we certainly don't think the $300 price difference would warrant us to choose the Fairmont over the Auberge again. The Auberge is great value for the money and is equipped with all you need unless you have really fancy taste. Safe travels!
