Whilst snug, the room overlooked Lake Como and was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and of a high quality, as was the food in the restaurant opposite. All staff really friendly. A family run business showing real care and attention to their guests.

Stopped for a couple of nights on a road trip, really nice hotel especially at the price. Very little English spoken but very friendly and helpful. Basic but plentiful breakfast. Hotel is a little out of the main area, approx a 15 minute walk down to Lake Como alongside a reasonably quiet road. Would thoroughly recommend as a value for money base for exploring the area, clean and tidy with large carpark, small bar at the front that closes early.

Lovely basic clean hotel with good coffee breakfast car parking lady who runs in speaks little English but is most helpful clean and tidy bit of a walk to centre but easy to get around and boat in centre takes you on lake tours splugen pass a must if your not bothered about twisty roads

This hotel is nicely out of the way of the busy town area, very friendly lady on the desk but no English at all - have some basic Italian up your sleeve. A very clean place, a little basic but we paid a reasonable price for a double room.
The main problem is the noise - if it's not the HGVs who constantly run their engines outside in the large carpark, it's inside where the echoey building means you hear everything from a bloke coughing across the corridor to someone's alarm going off for half an hour. Doors banging at 5.00am and the reception phone reverberating up the stairs.
Good value for money, but if it's a good night's sleep you're after, forget it.

I was looking for a cheap accomodation for 2 nights.
I knew I´d be tired from kiteboarding all day and just wanted a place to crash.
Pretty much what I expexted, after having read a few reviews I was even surprised at how well this worked out.
Downside: Next to a street, and italians like to go fast and LOUD. So if you´re there and it´s hot, better get some ear plugs if you need to keep the windows open.
Bathroom worked great, bed was clean (a bit small), and if you´re picky with pillows, you might want to bring your own ;-)
