They ruined our event!
CleveburghFanon 28/10/2017 20:33The venue is beautiful and the rooms are nice but because they ruined our daughter’s wedding I wasn’t able to sleep, so I can’t speak for the comfortableness of the beds.
Do NOT, I repeat do NOT, book this space for your important event. We held our daughter’s wedding there on September 23, 2017 and while the venue is gorgeous, the wait staff and the operations team leave much to be desired. We had 150 guests in attendance, and approximately 30% were not able to eat because the venue ran out of food 45 minutes into our reception. Our contract stated we were to have food stations set up for two hours, and needless to say they were not prepared. In addition, our contract indicated we were to get Tito's vodka and Captain Morgan rum. They ran out of Tito's vodka, reisling wine and served our guests Paramount rum. Also for our dessert table I purchased 60 dozen pastries to be served to our guests. At midnight, I found that there were 20 dozen that were never put out, even though the dessert table was empty by 10 PM. They also cut the top tier of my daughter's wedding cake which was supposed to be saved. In addition the wait staff was rude, not helpful, and unresponsive to guests requests. It was 90° out that day and the venue did not even put pitchers of water on each table. Guests were told they could not have salt-and-pepper, could not have another fork, or could not have a pitcher of water. And this doesn't even begin to address all of the issues we've had. The venue has been continuously unresponsive to my requests for reimbursement and honestly does not care about our feelings since they ruined this event for us. BUYER BEWARE!!
This place is terrible because of the staff
Adissapointedqueston 25/10/2017 23:50The rooms are cute but the staff ... MAINLY "juile" at the front desk ruins the whole effect. She takes 30 minutes to check a person in, she rambles on the whole time, TALKING TO HERSELF, she is disorganized and UNPROFESSIONAL. I will not stay here again.

My business is named Aurora Consulting so we had to stop once we discovered this place on the map. And we are so glad we did. Sload was most hospitable with a wonderful sense of engaging humor. Hannah was awesome behind the bar, and the owner Steven was very gracious to share the history of the inn with us. We wish we could have stayed longer than one night. The room was clean and tastefully decorated by the one and only Genevieve from HGTV. OUR MEALS WERE OUTSTANDING. Aurora Consulting on the road stopping in Aurora, OH and staying at the Aurora Inn was a huge success.

jan don 15/09/2017 17:06Lovely lobby area; room nicely appointed; bathroom small; lovely front porch with rockers, but floor needs to be painted; nice location in the Western Reserve area of Ohio; side and back appearance of hotel not attractive; unbelievably low room rate for the quality of the inn; old style bar off of the small check-in area. Day administrative staff extremely friendly and helpful; would stay there again
