The best place to stay in Chios Island. Beautiful rooms. Great design, in a beautiful city with all that you need. Excelent services and oustanding hosts that will do everything that makes your vacation to be perfect. All my respect to the Augustus and his beautiful family and I will defenetly return here. The island is beautiful with 29 beaches that need to be descovered and the hosts of avgomina all season hotel will always tell you where to go or where to eat, trust them as I trust and you will not regret. One of the best vacation ever for me and my family. Ps: renting a car is a must.
Holiday in Chios!

A great island to visit. Visited the Citrus tree plantations. Chios is a beautiful island but make sure you rent a car as it is difficult to get around the large island without one.
The hotel is a beautiful place to stay at! A unique character about 30 to 40 min drive from the airport.
Memorable spot in Chios

We were later than planned in getting to Avgonima and Augustis made us welcome. He showed us the apartment (house) we had booked and explained why another could suit better in the weather which was forecast. His helpfulness then continued thru' our 6 night stay. We are grateful.
The studio we chose needed care as we moved around it - little headroom for a six footer (!) and the WC is cramped. The shower and pressure were excellent. Ability to cook was minimal so we ate out each evening. Pete ( Augustis' father) serviced the apartment and gave good advice.
The village was a pleasure on the eye and to be in - atmospheric, relaxing and romantic (even at our ages!).
Perfect choice! A mountain village in the middle of the island

If you have a car, plan to visit the entire island, enjoy nature and mountains, want to be independent, far from the noise of bars/taverns, with no parking problems, then this is the perfect choice. Avgonima (Αυγώνημα) is a medieval mountain village, in the center of the island, a 25 minute drive from the city of Χίος ( the first time you will need 35 minutes). The village is close to the main back road, which makes it very easy to access the entire island. In addition, you can park in front of the door of your charming studio at All Seasons Hotel. Most residents of the village inherited 4 or more small stone houses, originally used to store oil and food, and have remodeled them into individual or two floor studio apartments for tourists. The friendly, helpful owners (who returned to their native island after raising the kids in NYC) do not live in the village anymore , but they are always available by phone. And the bilingual son runs another hotel on the coast, near the city of Χίος, in the event you decide to spend a few additional nights near the sea. We spent our 5 nights here.No endless flights of stairs here ( which is the norm in other hotels on the island), but there is no wifi due to the thick stone walls and only two very small windows...so be aware if you are claustrophobic. However, the mattress is good; there is a large main room with TV and AC, a kitchenette, modern, small bathroom with shower, plenty of electrical plugs to charge phones, iPads, cameras and even a small garden in front where you can sit and eat. A few drawers but no place to hang clothes , so there is not much room for unpacking. We didn't use the garden since we had breakfast near the village square. And we enjoyed returning each evening to our quiet, cool mountain village to dine leisurely on delicious, home made traditional dishes and to enjoy watching the sunset from our reserved table at the "sunset tavern" :asteria (star) restaurant located at the far end of the village ( 5 minute walk). Unfortunately, we had to spend our last night in the city of Χίος, due to a 5:00 AM ferry, and truly regretted All Seasons in Αυγώνημα because in the city of Χίος we could not sleep due to the noise from the 24/24 bars and taverns near the port. And parking was very difficult. If I return to Χίος I will definitely stay at All Seasons once again! No hesitation at all!
Easter break

We stayed 4 nights at the All Seasons Avgonima to enjoy a traditional Easter in a quaint hillside village with history, views and charm all around. We loved it. The apartments were unique and so comfortable and provided the perfect base for our daily car trips. We had bought some basic supplies while in Chios Town but the local taverna catered to most of our needs as did restaurants and cafes in the places we visited each day. We booked for Easter Sunday lunch at the Pyrgos Taverna on the central square and were delighted with the food and the company on a very busy (it was booked solid with families from across the island) and a very special day in the town. We met the owners of the All Seasons apartments after they had attended church services on the Saturday night - we had returned from watching the rocket war at Vrontados and they gave us an Easter gift before going off to bless each of their stone houses scattered through the village. It was a privilege to be a part of village life on this intriguing island.
