This was my fourth visit to this hotel. I was attending a seminar which involved an overnight stay. The conference facilities are good. The good was good and the staff friendly. The rooms were a bit cold. The bed was comfortable if a bit soft. The bed cover had a couple of dirty marks on it. I found hairs around the bath. Also, cobwebs on the ceiling above the tv. Perhaps a bit more attention to detail when cleaning the rooms is required. Also, when I’ve been at the hotel on previous visits, there’s been a fridge in the room. However, when I opened the door to put water in the fridge, there was no fridge there. Not a bit problem but just a bit odd. I was in room 348.
Nice

Lovely hotel couldn’t fault it in any way staff could not have been more helpful the room was a good size with the usual tea and coffee there was also a fridge the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom spotless and well equipped never heard a sound during the night either (what a bonus) plenty of parking spaces out side in the well maintained grounds and peaceful (all this for under £10 more than a travel lodge can’t beat it)
A great hotel, but sort out the faults...

Went here recently as my partner was having a diagnostic procedure in the Golden Jubilee Hospital, as we are over 80 miles away from there the NHS pay vfor one nights accommodation in this Hotel previous to procedure , we decided to pay for an extra night to allow recovery if there was any surgery required ..
On arrival this is a very big hotel with fantastic access to the Hospital through a walkway directly and after checking in we were allocated room 432, we walked in were
stunned, it's not a room it's a suite with separate living area and bedroom with 2 fantastic bathrooms one with shower , other with bath with shower above ...
Clean and upmarket the room was stunning, a safe in both living areas and a small fridge with complimentary soft drinks & snacks.
But there's a but...the parking around this hotel is Hotel is chock a block, try getting a space anywhere near after 0900 hrs..up to 16:30 hrs the Hotel bases it's business around conferences..and obviously people travelling up to hospital for procedures..it's very busy.
We had a couple meals here which were good but not great, breakfast is ok but having one cup of your choice of tea or coffee poured from lukewarm vacumn flasks and cooking your own toast on one of them rollover toasters that need put through x2 mostly seen on Spanish holidays doesn't
befit a hotel of this class.
Throughout our stay one of the 2 lifts was inactive, and we had multiple problems with our keycard entry to room, staff were helpful with this but we never knew at any point if we could gain access to our room..
I would have given this a 5 star rating apart from the above niggles and parking
It's a lovely hotel but sort out the little things...!

What stands out about this place is the staff. They really are lovely and you can tell they show a genuine interest in their guests wellbeing and they are passionate about what they are doing.
Food is quite good and the menu is extensive.
They are currently undergoing a refurb of a lot of their rooms. It’s worth requesting a refurbished one when you book.
Would defiantly recommend.
People are great!

I stayed here for business. I am a frequent global business traveller and found the reception staff here to be excellent. The hotel is what you would generally expect for the type and class. The pluses - the great staff, room service. The minuses - the gym equipment is dated and difficult to use (treadmill displays) the breakfast is limited and probably hasn't changed in menu design for a long time, no non-dairy alternatives were apparent.
