Bed and Breakfast 1 block to the beach.
jimmyemailon 14/08/2017 19:23If your are looking for a nice quite bed and breakfast 1 block to the beach this would be the place. The owner is very nice and down to earth with a good sense of humor. There is a large porch with tables for breakfast and rockers for just relaxing. I think nice people make for a nice vacation.

Lovely weekend, better than expected!
MartinsTDon 18/06/2017 19:59We usually go to Spring Lake every summer and we decided to change it up this year. Avon Manor was lovely. Be prepared šthis inn isn't owed by a cute elderly couple, the new innkeeper, Greg, is sarcastic in a way New Yorkers can appreciate.
We enjoyed his sense of humor and the funny notes in his guest book. His staff is new and a little green but pleasant and they want to be helpful.
Breakfast has a good variety of options, is a man sized meal, and is very tasty. We booked an economy room because we expected to be on the beach more than in the room and to be honest is was the same size as a standard room in spring lake. Not big, but perfect for what we wanted.
He offered us a deal on a cottage for our next stay (which are pet-friendly) if we come back with our dogs.
The Avon beach allows coolers and food (which spring lake does not) but was very clean, quiet, a bit more crowded, but since they do allow coolers we plan to return. There is an area of beach dedicated to surfing and the regular swimming beaches are a bit smaller than Spring Lake but still plenty of space.
Really enjoyed our stay!
Old World Charm
Chris Con 16/06/2017 18:09My girlfriend and I stayed mid-week. From beginning to end Greg and his staff could not have been more helpful or friendly. Combine that with the excllent location, old world charm, and scenic views... and you have the perfect romantic beach getaway. I would highly recommend.
Charming and convenient!
Meghan Con 09/06/2017 17:21My husband and I have stayed at the Inn 5 times over the course of the last 8 years and have been delighted each time by the charm, location, and service.
The Inn is just one block from the beach and close to a few restaurants as well (we have enjoyed dinner at Columns on several occasions). Beach badges, chairs, and towels are all provided.
The spacious porch is also a highlight whether it's used to enjoy the delicious homemade breakfast or unwind with a glass of wine at the end of the day.
On our most recent stay, we brought our baby son and stayed at one of the cottages instead of in the Inn itself. The cottage was a couple blocks further from the beach, but offered more space and additional amenities like a kitchen and washer/dryer, making it a great option for those traveling with families.
Great deal
jellyjelly123on 08/06/2017 22:59Good to see what new owners have done this year. Love the Suites and the outside fire. Also glad they left some economical rooms, I donāt always need a Suite. I got a great special off the website and spent nothing. Staff was helpful and we will be back to see what else is new.
