Public spaces are very nice.
Classic rooms tired but beds are comfortable.
Complimentary small water and bathroom amenities not replaced.
On Saturday evening Lounge bar staff left us sitting at the bar for 10mins before telling us they were too busy and it would be a long wait. The Lounge was not at capacity but there appeared to be only two staff.

This is a good hotel, at a very good location. There is a good seafood restaurant at 30 m. Rates are good. Breakfast buffet is OK and even offers Nespresso coffee. The room is very good except:
- heating could not be turned on because the whole hotel was still in airco mode.
- no conditioner in the bathroom - we had to ask for it.
- one of the 3 elevators is a bit behind a corner - once you know the system there is no problem
- the bar was lacking atmosphere, but then, just step outside and you all the atmosphere you can hope for.

This hotel maybe was 4 stars 40 years ago, but right now it's very, very shabby.
We stayed there because we were attending wedding and the banquet was at the hotel (terrible too, by the way). The rooms that had been blocked for the event were the "classic", that is, the very old ones that need urgent refurbishment. Dirty walls and very sloppy bathroom. It is the only hotel I stayed in (and it's been many) in which they had no ironing board or iron for guest use. There was no option to order room-service breakfast and the mini-bar only had 2 bottles of water. In summary, old, shabby and not worth the price is the proper description for this hotel.

We have just left after a 3 night stay at this hotel. We were greeted by a very miserable and unhelpful receptionist. He gave us a Russian map only when prompted even though we are English. When we got to our room we found two single beds, we exchanged this with very little fuss. Our second room was down some dark corridor next to a cleaners room which did not fill us with joy, it also had a very peculiar smell and had a blocked toilet. Into room 3, all good but shabby, no view, no shower curtain or screen so water flooded bathroom.
On the up side lovely young man at the door and serving and cleaning staff very good.
On leaving we had the same miserable receptionist who did not ask us if we had a pleasant stay or wish us a safe flight home.
Valencia a great city for a short stay but not at this hotel.

Great location for anyone wanting to walk to the attractions and plenty of restaurants and shops. Friendly and approachable staff, who were very helpful pointing us in the right direction of local attractions. Our room was spacious, nicely furnished and very clean. Bathroom was a little tired but spotless. Breakfast was on the 9th floor, lovely views over the city and the breakfast was very good. Anything from yoghurt, fruit, ham, cheese, toast, cakes or they will make a cooked breakfast to order. Great place to stay.
