I stayed at the hotel for a bit over a week in October. The rooms are absolutely fantastic. They are clean, they are big, they are bright. I felt VERY safe at the hotel as well. But, I would not suggest staying at the hotel right now with the bar, the gym, and the pool along with the grounds all closed/undergoing renovations. The hotel does offer a shuttle that will go to one of their other properties to use their gym or pool, but as I was busy with work, the timing never worked out for me to utilize this. I was impressed that a manager spoke to me about my dining preferences as I'm vegan. I did try to convey this to the staff, and while I never was served meat, I do know that I had dairy. Most of the staff spoke English pretty well, which I appreciated.

Nice hotel with good rooms and nice fresh food.
The staff are friendly and warm.
The swimming pool and some parts of the hotel were under repair so missed out on outdoor activities.
The hotel runs an airport shuttle which connects to the hotel, the shuttle has free WIFI.
The food is great only that the restaurant is small and may do with some expansion.
This is a serine hotel good for rest and nice sleep.

A good business Hotel to stay around if you have a 100% focus on securing business. Clean, TIdy, Spacious Hotel, Good spread of Menu for the food keeping in mind the franco-african approach to the Hotel, have been here more than 8 times since 2014 and never have they disappointed in Service or otherwise

Second stay (first one in 2013). The security measures restricting access to non residents are very effective. Comfortable room with all commodities and equipments in working conditions. Excellent breakfast buffet. Good internet wifi connection. House keeping is very well done. Room service is unpredictable. Front desk staff may need some training on customer service (more smiley and helpful...)

Stayed at Hotel Salam for a few days... it is very spacious but with very antiquated fittings! The hotel is undergoing renovations... perhaps will be modernized over the next few months!
The staff are great!
