Just a breath of fresh air. Front desk staff very helpful and knowledgeable. Special shout out to Ms. Wendy!!! My room was a lof t type with the main bedroom upstairs and living space downstairs. Biggest pro was access to Sofitel next door. I was BLOWN AWAY by the property and service there. I highly recommend Bovedas if you want a great boutique hotel experience with access to the grande-dame property across the street.

One of my favourite hotels. It used to be a monastery and still keeps lots of these touches. The building is amazing. Service is great. If you go to the bar and walk down a set of tiny stairs in the middle of it, you will see a little grave where nuns used to be buried. We love this place. Pricey but wor it

We stayed with my wife back in may and had a great time, the hotel is small but the rooms are pretty good in size, the service is excellent! A especial thanks to Gustavo the Operations Manager! He was great to deal with every time, also the 2 breakfast attendants were an absolute pleasure to see every morning, they were always very attentive and happy to serve you! It was great! Thank you Bóvedas team for a great stay! We will be back!

Most professional and most peaceful place in Cartagena.
I just have been there for breakfast. Highly recommendable Norwegian eggs with salmon. Helpful staff and really premium high end food quality.

I am incredibly happy that I chose Bovedas during a quick trip to Cartagena. I couldn't imagine having a better stay. The room was surprisingly large, with two full bathrooms and an incredible pizza sized shower head that rained down like a waterfall from the heavens. Seriously! In such a hot city, this was very much appreciated.
Being able to use the pool and fitness center at Sofitel next door was a major deciding factor in choosing to stay. It's difficult to find a gym in the walled area, so having one (albeit small) was a plus.
Each and every staff member I encountered was absolutely amazing. The management obviously knows what they are doing, and hire and train the best people.
Though not a deal breaker at all, the only setback would be the in-room coffee pods. If I read the mini bar pamphlet correctly, it seemed like there was a fee for using the coffee pods. I drink way too much coffee for this to be an option for me. Instead I opted for the buffet breakfast (an extra charge, but worth it) with unlimited coffee, and a great assortment.
