This hotel was in a good spot to get started getting acquainted with Nice. Another time we might seek a hotel in the old town or at the harbor (Villefranche sur Mer) but this was great for a first time visit. Close to shopping, restaurants and the beach. Everything about the room was fine. We were in the back with an unspectacular view, but it was interesting to be able to see l'Observatoire de Nice up on the hill. Breakfast was great - downstairs from the lobby. Nice selection of sweet and savory dishes. The dinner we had in the rooftop restaurant was very enjoyable with good food, view and service.

This is an old fashionable hotel. The reception, lobby and dining areas were very nice. These areas seem to have been somewhat restored. The breakfast didn't have the largest selection, - but whatever needed to have a nice meal. I had a large suite at the 5th floor, - with a nice balkony/terrace. The room and hotel was nice and clean, - though the upper floors might need some upgrading. The bar and terrace on the 6th floor (roof) was a nice place to sit down and relax with a glass of wine or beer. And the best thing was the location, - with short access to the city centre.

The hotel was great, clean and had a small but ok gym. It was also walking distance to the old town, the beach and public transportation.
The staff was nice and helpful.
The breakfast was a little too expensive but had the necessary items, and it was very convenient.

Our room was MASSIVE!!! A 2 minute walk to the promenade and close to restaurants and shops. The rooftop terrace was beautiful but if you are after a good meal best go elsewhere. Would recommend this to friends and family in a heartbeat.

The hotel itself is very nice, but there are certain corners of the rooms that aren't that tidy. Like our blankets that were literally dirty upon our arrival, but they changed them when we told them. This was our only disappointment. The breakfast was pretty good, the staff was awesome, and the view was fascinating. The hotel's location is just simply amazing. You can find everything in a 10-minute walking distance.
