Excellent staff... Authentic traditional Rajasthani Decor and furniture and great food...
We reached late as we drove almost 700 km to reach Jaipur but the check in process was quick and easy... The restaurant staff were very good and served us an excellent hot meal at 10.30 pm without any problems.... Only 2 things that I want to point out for fellow travellers... They do not have any parking for cars of the guests... The executive at the reception told me that they were in the process of acquiring a property at the back of the hotel for use as a parking.... The hotel security does keep an eye on the cars as the lane leading to the hotel is very busy and very narrow so cars parked there are under a slight risk.... Another problem is the view from the hotel.... If you are a fan of the outdoors and antique and traditional interiors are not your interest then I can safely say that this is not the place for you as it is sandwiched on all sides by other construction.... but again very conveniently located for sightseeing.... so you can weight the pros and cons of the place yourself.....

The room was perfect and comfortable and the decor was amazing, but we were not so interested in the decor when the washing we sent in was ruined and stretched out (obviously by a very hot tumble drier), and the hotel still charged us top dollar for our ruined washing.
Also we are not interested in sitting on the internet all the time, but when you want to go online you want it to be easy. Every morning and every evening we had to get new codes which was SOOOOO FRUSTRATING for a fancy hotel.... just give us easy access to internet and make it work. Breakfast was awful.
Overall this was the worst place we stayed in India (and we stayed at backpackers too)

Two nights in this lovely Haveli. Gorgeous room, clean and spacious. Breakfast was great and we were prepared freshly cooked omletes and Dosa. The service manager went above and beyond to ensure our breakfast experience was above our expectations. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would reccomend.

The hotel is located centrally within the city, the check in process was smooth and felt delighted when the hotel upgraded our room to a suite.
The inside of the hotel is really, really cool- the marble and inlay decoration make you feel like you are in a palace.
Breakfast was good with a really nice Indian choice with eggs cooked to order if you want something more western.
A highlight in Rajasthan.

The hotel and staff were a wonderful experience for my friend and I. Clean and wonderful decor, friendly and helpful staff. Goverdhan in the restaurant saw to it that we enjoyed the delicious foods and Shakti at reception ensured requests were met in his wonderful calm and kind manner. Thank you all of you at the Traditional Haveli for your exceptional care during our stay. Pauline and Valerie.
