About 5km from Cadiz but train station just next door and 4 euro return to Cadiz town centre. Rooms are spacious but a little dated . Great views and most rooms had balconies . Food in restaurant pretty good as we did half board so usual Spanish buffet choice. Modern shopping mall just underneath the apartments so plenty of shopping if you want it.

The Bahia Sur Appartments in the Bahia Sur Complex, Sam Fernando have a very good location for excursions along the Costa de la Luz. The Appartments are fairly maintained and it seems you have to be lucky to get a nice apartment (we were actually lucky)
Nevertheless, there is a Shopping Mall just underneath which is extremely convenient and a Sports complex next door with Tennis, Football and Gym.
During our stay there were only locals which was nice to practice our Spanish.
The 2 pools are very convenient, if you don't want to drive to the nearby beaches, but rules in the pools are very strict. The complex is not as touristic as the other areas along the beaches, such as Conil or Chiclana.

I stayed on business for 9 days , the complex is vast with bungalows at the rear and tennis courts and football pitches amongst other facilities . I bet when it first opened it was a gem however now it's looking a bit tired and needs a good overhaul . Saying that though my room was fine with working fridge and air con , huge shower which was great an was cleaned daily. I wouldn't come here on holiday but was fine for work purposes

Breakfast very poor . Not bad inside , nothing fancy , sleep and leave .
Shopping centre next to the hotel , at least you can get decent food in there. Don't think will use this hotel again if I'm around San Fernando
Cadiz is 15 min drive so will stay there .

Probably the worst breakfast I have had in spain!!! When you live in s country where they throw away oranges and they don't give fresh orange juice for breakfast it tells you that the management doesn't care, not only that breakfast is between 8 and 10 so at nine they are bringing what there was of the fresh bread out and not much of it. Everything was cheap and cheerful. I know it was cheap to stay here but it would not cost a lot of care and attention to improve this place. The rooms are dated and in need of updating. All in all I WOULDNT
